@YusufBoro good work my friend. I enjoy watching them. Have you managed to get any ITK transfer news for us through doing these interviews? If not I will set you a challenge of finding us at least one name we are after before your last interview. Haha

Saville really likes Jed Wallace but that was edited out 👀

Great quote from Kevin Blackwell in the Athletic today 🤣🤣🤣

It's my birthday today, meant to be my 30th but I've refused to allow that in current circumstances of not being able to celebrate it. I usually get my age on the back of one of my shirts so I re

I knew you would come through mate. I also developed a liking for Jed Wallace after checking his stats over the weekend. He is fairly productive. Though am sure we will knock that out of him if we sign him 😊

But if we did sign him that could be rather confusing if we ended up with Jed and Djed on the pitch...

Hopefully we get a decent offer for Djed as i prefer Dijksteel and Fisher ahead of Djed. I feel he a disposable asset.

NW fined £7k for his post match comments

All things considered he'll probably feel its money well spent. 😉

Sometimes things just have to be said.

I reckon there'll be a couple of players coming in this morning saying they'll chuck something towards that. Was speaking for the dressing room and a lot of fans at the time.

Saville starts for NI in they friendly v USA. Paddy rested.

Obviously main thing is Paddy is likely to be playing on Wednesday less than 48hrs before our away game v Bournemouth.

Albeit in November they manager decided to play Paddy in all 3 games during the international week which included starting him in a total dead rubber so at least thats not happened this time.

At the risk of sounding ungrateful, that seems rather like spitting on a forest fire, when you consider how much debt clubs will have racked up over the last year or so. Even if it comes on top of the PL's £200m loan deal.

At most it'll help clubs that are perilously close to liquidation or struggling to pay their staff, but thats about it.

It'll keep the wolves from the door for a bit, but I wonder what the repayment terms are - i.e. how soon and whether it has to be in full, or in instalments? Having to pay off debts when you're struggling to make money isn't all that helpful.

Under 18s into the last 8 of the FA youth Cup.

What kind of football do our youth teams play mate? I'm just wondering if there's any kind of continuity between the first team and the youth teams like was talked about a few years ago or do we try to play a bit more football? Seems to be working pretty well at the moment whatever were doing.

    • Well done Midtjylland, and good luck in the competition, but honestly, Celtic are in a real mess right now. I cannot see how their new manager is the right fit for a club needing root-and-branch rebuilding, and I feel Rangers under Gerrard are going to go from strength to strength this season. Funny (yet also quite sad) how Scottish football goes through these lengthy cycles of one-club dominance while the other flounders and falls apart. I think it'll be a good few years before Celtic win the SPL again.
    • This lad has played around as many professional matches as his age, doesn’t appear prolific, and could be a wonderkid or a pup. I can’t see how they can be allowing themselves to get caught in a bidding war. We have Leo, they have a whole management set up that speaks his language. They have London and all its temptations and we have Yarm. I think we should get off the merry-go-round before the music stops. More and more seems to be going into the hands of the selling club and the risk on the winner. Let Fulham have this project now. The kid seems to want Fulham, lets move on. There will be others with more experience on the planet we can use who are likely to be more dependable from the off.
    • There was a minimum Fee release (which most people thought was half what he was worth).  I know we still owed Villa money but thought they also had sell on clauses (reason villa were prepared to sell for so low) - may well be wrong though.   The South American transfer makes sense as UK based players can have have ridiculous transfer fees that are over inflated and often wage expectations but only if we negotiate a sensible deal and don't get into a bidding war.
    • I'm almost certain we didn't give any of the Adama fee to Villa.
    • I was a lot more positive before rumours of deal contents keep getting leaked.  If we are buying an unproven risk like Muniz then we need to keep a bigger slice of the pie.  Nowhere near as happy giving away 50% of future fee/profit.  I could imagine that we would be in similar position to when Adama left and everyone was going mad at the transfer fee (of which we owed villa a chunk).  For me if we are taking the risk then needs to the be potential for big profit.
