A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

Chris Short, Oxfords head of Sport Science, is joining the club.

When I saw this, I thought you meant Oxford University! Still a decent backroom signing, though. Anything that'll (hopefully) improve player fitness and reduce the risk of injuries has to be applauded as a step in the right direction.

Early promotion odds. Does not mean a great detail at this point but more bit of fun at this early stage. Forest 6th favourites for promotion is a surprise in that article but I can see them in and around there. Got a good squad and a good manager in Houghton who will have benefit of a full summer with the squad.

Article doesn't make much sense really, typical gazette spin. Says were more fancied that Warnock might expect yet were the same worse odds than 11 other teams. We're exactly where it says Warnock would expect us - middle of the pack.

Exactly @Neverbefore. NW had us middle and EG says odds has us in the group of 6 outside the fancied top 6. That would be mid table ish then. They clearly write stuff knowing NW and rest of club look out for what goes in there.

Former Boro keeper Alan Miller has died aged 52. One of the first keepers i remember for Boro.

Aww man that's sad.  When we did that Boro quiz a few weeks back he was the first name I put in from that first game at the Riverside against Chelsea.  Lost his place unfairly to Gary Walsh cos Robbo had played with him at Man Utd.  Soon replaced him in turn with Schwarzer.  RIP.

Just seen the sad news. Indeed arguably the 1st keeper I really became aware of other than Pears. He was part of the Robbos promotion team. I don't think I appreciated him enough at Boro but he always impressed me when he played for West Brom. Its another sad loss at such a young age as well.
