just a point on boro+ - I'v been umming and ahhing about it recently - is it worth it generally?

Most of the time it works pretty well, but the match commentary does have a habit of dropping out during games.

As for the video content, its nice but nothing amazing.

Oh dear, Hull have scored already.

BORO 0 - 1 HULL

Middlesbrough FC

Apologies to Boro+ subscribers, we've asked Perform to check out the problem with the commentary and hopefully it will come through soon

from the FB page.

It'll probably come back in the 89th minute. :dodgy:

As a Northern Irish fan I wouldn't expect you to be a huge James McClean fan :P

    • Yeah, I did, it was the same way as normal really, except with more active stewarding and staggered entry and exits. Hand sanitiser stations were situated by the turnstiles and you were instructed to use them before being allowed through. Worked absolutely fine. Only thing I think might prove an issue is they were only allowing 3 people in the toilets at once, and that's surely not really sustainable at higher attendances. I do think that it's the right idea for them not to open the bars until the restrictions are fully lifted though, despite some fans in Tier 2 areas kicking off, it'd be bound to create unnecessary congestion and hassle.
    • Did you go to the Bournemouth game? If you did how did the club organise getting fans in and out of the stadium?
    • Hmm...maybe I should've used some emojis to make it obvious I was exaggerating. Still your explanation was interesting. 👍 Even so, you'd expect a professional footballer to put those kind of chances away, more often than not. Don't they practice this kind of stuff in training? And as for pushing & shoving, Britt is a big unit - I wouldn't have thought it was that easy to knock him off the ball (although the way he often goes down like Bambi on ice suggests otherwise).
    • I wish youd do these historical facts for every fixture regardless of whether you're the match day thread creator or not - excellent stuff!
    • I agree. The stream works well on a laptop, I always connect mine to my tv and the picture is great.
