Win win for boro tomorrow really IMO.

Hull are expected to win but if we get at them early on like we have in the last few games I can see us causing them a few problems.

If we win, fantastic. Can only build our confidence.

If we lose, no big deal we can just use it as a benchmark and learn for the future.

Either way I think it should be a good game and I'm going 2- 1 boro

I fancy us to beat Hull comfortably tomorrow, you would think our first team should have no problems against a second string Hull team

I think we'll pull of a win tomorrow also, just a narrow one though.

I'm annoyed that we can't get on TV even with a Cup game Grimbsy vs Huddersfield, Rochdale vs Leeds, and Macclesfield Town vs Sheffield Weds all on wiziwig.

inevitable that graham will score against us if he plays

The hull team doesn't particularly strike me as having that much more quality than ours really. Huddlestone has been fantastic this year and brucey will always set up his teams to be hard to beat.

Can't see past a boro win here. We have 7 days until the next league game so I think AK will fancy our chances against a prem team and send out a strong squad. Think the players will be up for it and a good FA Cup run would be nice. With a few lucky draws we could go a few rounds and get an attractive fixture and bank some money. Would be nice to get on tv too.

I always want to win but tbh I can live with it if we lose this one. Definitely all about then league this year.

It would be useful for a few players to build a bit more confidence. Main, Juke and Butterfield. That is the most useful thing that can happen today for me.

Just realised my tickets havent turned up yet :s

Ordered them on tuesday morning. The tinternet said if you ordered them before 4:30pm on the tuesday they'd be sent out in the post...

Anyone else order around this time, and any ideas what I do if they don't turn up??

I ordered mine on Tuesday afternoon and they arrived yesterday morning, surprised they arrived that quick. You might want to ring the ticket office tomorrow morning or go there yourself.

Cheers, yeah I'll probably have to give them a ring in the morning if the postie doesn't turn up early!

It's way easier to just use ticket fast and print them at home, saves them possibly not turning up

I wasn't given the option this time, usually there's a little drop down menu with the two options, but it wasnt there when I bought mine :s

Plus I do like to keep my old tickets as mementos, not quite the same keeping things you've printed off yourself :p

Turns out they're waiting at the ticket collection booth thing for me. Phew, I shall go to the (foot)ball after all!

Fancy both teams to score in this one. Might put a cheeky bet on that, along with my giant 12 team accy (sure to be let down by a giant killing...)

Do you think we could hit 20k for this game?

In a word, no.

Anyone sat in West Upper needs to keep an eye on Directors Box as Omeruo is supposedly going to be at the match.

    • Tyson Fury has just absolutely destroyed Deontay Wilder. Wilder's corner forced to throw the towel in, one of the most one sided fights you'll see despite it going to round 7.
    • I said that it’s “foreseeable” that she could have made it up. That’s a completely different thing to the way that you have interpreted it, which triggered you into attacking me. Again, your reaction is what I was pushing back against; that of someone instinctively jumping on Randolph as being guilty based upon, so far, unfounded allegations. The police will investigate and the CPS will decide whether a prosecution is warranted. Up until then, any public lynching of Randolph is dangerous. Please read my above post about how thorough the CPS are with high profile domestic abuse allegations, especially when compared to other areas of the law. If he is charged and subsequently found guilty then I will be equally strong in my condemnation. Your view is based entirely upon his ex telling the truth. My view is based upon no one knowing who is telling the truth, and trusting a police investigation to come to the bottom of it. I’m confident that my approach is fairer and more reasonable than your lynch mob approach.
    • First part, I have no doubt that he didn't want those players in January.  The players he did want weren't exactly a guarantee of success however.  But putting that to one side, we signed lots of players in the summer and we won 4 games out of 27.  I don't know what was going on behind the scenes and who was bringing in players etc but I see no reason to think that the January transfer window would have seen an improvement in our form if we'd signed the likes of Jese or Bojan.  So no, January wasn't his downfall in my opinion. Second part, to me as a fan, being crap in one league is no different to being crap in another league was my point.  You might love the idea of watching us lose in the Premier League rather than the Championship but I don't.  Losing is losing and playing badly is playing badly.  Who gives a crap what league you're in when you're doing that?  I don't, makes absolutely no difference to me at all.  The last two Premier League seasons we've had have been two of the worst seasons in my life.  If you're saying that Karanka could come in, make us play better in this league then yeah I think he probably could, he certainly couldn't do much worse.  But aren't we looking for more?  Maybe it's just me because whenever we have these conversations I seem to be one of the few saying it but I want to see a good team, playing good football and being as successful as we can be.  I don't believe Karanka did that with us so I'm not pining for him in the way that others are and I don't think that Woodgate doing a bad job means I want to accept a repeat of what happened while Karanka was here.
    • Can we not just all agree that our last ten managers have all been rubbish and probably the ten before them.
