Anyone see Coventry beat QPR?
I hope Mark Robin's keeps setting them up like he didn't in their League One campaign and the first 2 games this season. For those that may not be aware, Coventry set up with a midfield that resembles a square. They have two deep midfielders and two number 10s, so effectively a square of midfielders. They play 3 at the back, 2 wingbacks, the square or box midfield then 1 up top.
True, a player is removed from the fee that is being paid for him. And it doesn't have a bearing on their on pitch performance. But it does go show our (MFC's) inefficiencies in the transfer market. Especially in our current climate, where we are clearly having to rein spending in.
I did make the point about Johnson having more first team experience, so you'd expect him to be performing at a higher level than Spence.
