Looks like Williams is staying with us for the foreseeable :( will this have an impact on possible incomings?

 

I don't think so. Purely selfishly we do still have a fair few good CBs. Might scupper a deal for Hines though.

I suppose Williams injury may well be a great opportunity for Gibson to make that spot his own!

As much as I don't want to see any of our players injured, this could benefit us in the long term (Gibson getting more game time).

 

Hope it isn't too serious though!

Chabolah (sp) can play as a CB so shouldn't make much difference

I know what its like, 3 months in plaster, with your toes pointing downwards, which takes weeks of physio to get it back level,then by that all your calf muscle has withered away, I.m guessing at least 6 months out if its a ruptured Hercules in

snapped achilles sounds right painful!

 

at 19 I ruptured my achilles tendon on my left foot - I didn't play football for 18 months. Generally, I seem to remember it can be anywhere between 6 - 24 months dependent on the severity of the damage
