Let's not forget that last week and this we were up against 2 top-notch goalkeepers (Kirkland and Butland). Hopefully next weekend we'll be playing against a GK whose name doesn't end in land and we'll score.

We only managed 2 shots on target.

3 shots on target against Leeds and 4 today. But feel free to make up stats to support your argument.

As CS said. Our season is over. We lost today due to a *** refereeing decision. If Butterfields goal had been given, would that penalty have happened? Probably not, no.

So lets bemoan our luck one more time, Karanka knows what he is doing. As others have said, defensively we are very, very sound, probably the surest we've been in a long time. We just need a bit of patience to let it click.

It's hard to lose, especially to another penalty etc. But honestly, some of the fans are embarrassing calling for Karanka out already (this is mainly a dig at twitter and facebook).

Sorry, I only counted 2, but either way, it's not great.

hes still got my backing

i was anti graham signing and anti whitehead signing and not a fan of main getting a game so im miffed with team selections ATM .

little bit of deja-vu appearing with face fitting and favouritism , unless ,as someone posted earlier ...thats to see if they cut it before culling starts .

its all about next season now ,,,but that isnt much comfort when sitting thru the remaining games of this one ,

1Jason Steele 15Seb Hines 5Frazer Richardson 22Ben Gibson 3George Friend 6Jacob Butterfield 7Grant Leadbitter 18Dean Whitehead 27Albert Adomah 29Kei Kamara 9Lukas Jutkiewicz

That was the team in moggas last game Kamara played on the left in a 4-2-3-1 formation we scored 2 goals but conceded 3 against Barnsley.

Give karanka a chance we are moving in the right direction. After the Barnsley game people on here where saying that we needed to bring in a new back 4 because we where shipping goals for fun. karanka has come in and sorted our defensive side out. He's now working on our forward play give him a chance

Listening to AK's press conference, it sounds like Steele, won't play again.

I think he meant Steele isn't up to full speed in training after he's injury not that steeles not putting the effort in

We are not set up defensively at all. We have 4-5 attack minded players a long with Friend who is an attacking full back.

Our problem is that our striker is *** awful and our 3 attacking midfielders aren't doing what they're supposed to do and support him.

4231 is both attacking and defensive.

Exactly this, when the players know what they're doing it's probably the most attacking formation in football at the minute.

3 months ago Karanka took over the worst team in England in 2013.

We now look like we're not going to get beat instead looking like we are going to lose or if we where really lucky get a draw from games

This, Would people prefer to be getting beat every week?

No one is saying that we want him out, we are just questioning his tactics and selection and want him to play a more attacking style, he's got to stop falling out with players and play a system that suits them.

4-2-3-1 is NOT a defensive tactic

I'm not talking about the formation, BiB, it's about the way the players operate within that system. It's too simplistic to say, oh just play 433 or 422, if it was that was the case, anyone that had ever played Football Manager on their PC and won a few games would be an expert manager. It's about coaching the players to play within the system, about them knowing when to take risks, when to stay firm. That system in particular is reliant on movement from midfield, we just don't attack well when we are set up like this.

So how is that Karankas fault. Surely its the players fault for not being able to listen to what he wants them to do..

Also, ridiculous how some fans look for a reason to hate on Karanka (Not digging at you BW_S)
