Got a good feeling about today. Can see us scoring a few.

Unfortunately... Can also see Ipswich scoring a few too.

On an unrelated note, has anybody seen Boro's Facebook post showing off their official YouTube channel with the Friend video? Hoping that Boro use this as effectively as Blackpool, and chuck highlights etc in there too.

My George Friend first goalscorer bet has to come in eventually. Today is the day.

Hope the gaffer puts his trust in Jason Steele and also goes for an attacking formation.

Up The Boro.

a tremendous amount of mounting pressure will be lifted once that next goal goes in id have put money on it being in our last game as opposed to this one but its still ongoing .

i believe it will come early on in the game when it does come as the longer each game goes on we seem to lose belief at the moment but it will come soon . someone between now and the end of the season is in for a thrashing

Maybe this will be one of those day where all of our chances will be buried. 8-1 I can feel it :D

@Boro: Subs: Steele, Kamara, Butterfield, Williams L, Main, Atkinson, Morris #UTB

@GraemeBailey: Understand that Albert Adomah is fully fit, but has been left out of Middlesbrough squad today.

Sigh. Really wish I knew what was going on with Steele.

Good to see Tomlin and Carayol in though

    • I think Luton could get out of it, they have a couple of winnable matches. After Thursday I honestly thought we’d be fine. I think Tav has to come into the team on Tuesday and id stick with the wingbacks. I really don’t have a good feeling about it though. Why do we do this to ourselves?!
    • You would hope so, but I believe the restructure will include role-playing staff like scouts, data analysts and sports scientists.
    • I assume we'll already have our targets chosen 😱
    • I keep reading about how and should we rebuild in the summer, but what is scary is that the summer transfer window may only have a gap of 4-6weeks before the new season restarts which is very daunting. The transfer window is going to be extended obviously but we could be in a situation where we are still putting building blocks in place when the season has already begun. On top of that, if Warnock stays which I think will happen providing we stay up, he will buy Warnock type players. That's all well and good but when he retires the following season then we are back to square one having players which suited a certain manager. For me, we need a 'in the middle' appointment where we can put down foundations for the next 3/4 seasons. In the middle meaning not overly experienced like Pulis/Warnock who we will only get a year out of but not overly inexperienced either where they have only had a few good seasons. Someone like Nigel Pearson.
