I think Next season we will have a real chance of promotion.

I think it was undue optimism to expect promotion this season despite the revival under AK. Next season though...

A point against the play offs is still a good result.

Just gutted that the luck of the footballing gods wasnt with us AGAIN this week.

I just want this season to finish now so we can see what changes Karanka makes to the team

Are we getting a full new set of officials?

It's what this country needs!

Yup. Excited for next season. Very excited. We have the potential to be a real threat in the next campaign, and the Summer transfer window could be a very interesting one!

But this season is gunna drag now.

Well, to be fair, if the comments about the first half are any guide, a draw was probably a fair result.

Forest dominated possession and neither side had many shots on target:

Possession (%)

Boro 35 - 65 Forest

Shots (on target)

Boro 14(3) - 16(3) Forest

Corners

Boro 5 - 6 Forest

Fouls (bookings)

Boro 9(0) - 10(1) Forest

It certainly is.

The ball was hip high and he makes a clear motion with his left arm batting forward.

I know we only get the one angle on SSN but I'm absolutely convinced it was 100% handball.

Dimi wouldn't run that far up the pitch either if he wasn't so sure I don't think.

Far too many draws for us this season

Better than defeats.

Wasn't helped by Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and David Blunkett as match officials though.

Deja vu 4! As long as its not another false dawn, linked with every man and his dog and the his dogs immediate family and then BANG, transfer deadline day news "boro make only signing of he summer... Jason Euell!!"

It's outrageous how bad the officials are in the lower leagues.

Poor. Playing a side in really poor form, should have beaten them

If that 'goal' was a handball, then that's an harsh comment.

Maybe, it sums up our season in a way, not taking chances and then done by a bad decision. They had their chances too but you want to be beating a side in their form

    • Very arguable, and I dare say it would be mainly boro fans that would have that view. I personally don’t rate Fry that much though.
    • i do find it amusing that less than 5 months ago that the general consensus on this board was not a penny less than £20m for Fry. I believe the bench mark we used was the fee Brighton paid for Bristol Citys Webster. However fast forward just 5 months and some of our fans are now happy to take half of that (some would probably take less than half). Dael Fry certainly has not set the standards he previously set but there are a number of factors contributing towards that. However, in the last few weeks his performances have improved and i for one hope he stays and continues to improve. And we then sell him for a fee we all felt his ability and performances merited.  I certainly would not be giving up on him. I talked in an earlier post about showing the younger members of our team some patience during they development. Fry falls in to that category. He is 22 and it is rare you see a complete defender, especially a centre half, at the age of 22.  Lets be patient with him whilst he plays his way out of this sticky patch and then sell him for a fee his ability merits eh.
    • Nixon is such a lazy chunt! As if he makes a fooking living out of that nonsense.    embressing Nixon. And he’s an ever bigger chunt in real life! Had several encounters..
