When McClaren was waiting to come off the bus for about 15 minutes there was a Derby coach speaking to his friend next to me and he said a few interesting things:

*McClaren has only worked on the defence since he arrived

*They have been very impressed with us when analysing us on tapes. In particular Leadbitter and Adomah. Likely to be their toughest game in their remaining fixtures. Coach fancied a draw.

*Their CB's fancy their chances in stopping Graham as they have nulified him whenever they have played against him in the past

*They really want Tomlin to play because he is lazy and won't be able to track their deep lying midfielder

Why do they name players like that. It's very confusing.

Good to see Williams getting continued faith. Really did think for a while there that it was a completely pointless exercise to recall him.

Bench: Steele, Butterfield, Ledesma, Kamara, Main, Atkinson, Kitching

According to Vickers, Kitching is a midfielder?

Is Hines injured or just completely out of favour?

Mark Kitching is a tall midfielder who is currently playing for the u 21s See reports on the games against the Manchester clubs. H e scored the goal against City at Hyde by picking up the ball in the centre circle and outpacing the central defenders.

He covers the ground very well and has a good stride length which means that he appears to be moving slower than he actually is. I can easily see him fitting into the Karanka pressing game better than many of his peers
