The key to winning this game is tenacity. Especially around their penalty area. You could say we need to be 'Tenacious around the D' :d

(I'll get my coat :s)

Look into the thread and it's easy to see,

DS wrote a poem, then we beat Burnley,

It was destiny...

He asked us: "Be you angels?"

And we said, "Nay. We are but men."

Once every hundred-thousand years or so,

When players don't whine and their boots don't glow,

And the fan base grows...

You never know we may be on a roll and maybe we can turn these over.

Better get the beer and pies in I see we have a connection.

Should be well worth watching, and a good game either way.

Dare I say 2-2.

I've been saying all week that there is no chance of the play-offs, but can it really hurt to get bit of optimism back into the season? Beat Burnley and Reading and it's all to play for. Maybe. Probably not though

I think we'll lose but there's no disgrace in that. Burnley have only lost four matches all year and are flying high at the moment. Plus we have no defence whatsoever.

I think we can capitalise maybe on their nervousness but honestly I just don't see it.

2-0 Burnley.

Do Burnley even have any fit strikers?

Ashley Barnes scored for them t'other day so I think they've got a grand total of one. Still more than we have fit CBs :)

I think Ings is set to return which is bad news.

Who do we reckon will play left back?

Is Parnaby fit?

Is Meling ready to step up?

    • Boro flashback this day 22nd November 1986                       Newport County 0 Boro 1 The face of advercity bandwagon is rolling on brilliantly & gathering pace, up to the Newport game we had played 16 league games & suffered 2 defeats, along with 4 league cup matches & one defeat against a team in a higher league & in to extra time, this from the same 12 players who had no summer practise matches, no friendlies, just training in local parks with jumpers as goal posts, the season was far better than the most optimistic of us Boro supporter could dream of  Bruce couldnt ask for any more from his players With the clock ticking down to the 90 minutes mark & the game finishing goaless at Somerton Park, it was looking like our 1st ever fixture on this ground was to be points shared, but, the mighty Boro & Boro legend Mogga had other ideas, we have a corner & with time almost over 'Tony Mowbray' nods home to score the vital winner & the ref blows the whistle, its full time, we take all three points back & the Boro fans, with the 5 hour journey, 300 miles back to Teesside to look forward to are ecstatic  Brucy Riochs red & white army team is Stephen Paers Brian Laws Colin Cooper Tony Mowbray Gary Parkinson Gary Pallister Bernie Slaven Archie Stephens Alan Kernaghan Gary Gill Stuart Ripley SUB Gary Hamilton on for Alan Kernaghan
    • Spurs might finally win something though, so maybe it's a tradeoff they are willing to make.
    • Narrow win here for me I reckon. I'll say 2-1, Britt and Ayala with the goals
