Got a bit of knowledge on the old eggball! Played both codes for a fair while! Currently sidelined due to complications from a dislocated shoulder.
smogsterking the Inspirati 2,452
I wonder if this opens the way for Japan to be part of the 4 nations championship. That's 2 big scalps in 2 world cups for them. I think its showing they deserve more regular fixtures against the "big boys". Their group is wide open now. I think Ireland will still make it through and I would have said Scotland prior to today. Now Scotland are going to need a big points win prior to playing Japan as I can see that being very close points wise.

The domestic Japanese team that joined Super Rugby really need to perform consistently before they look at expanding the 4 nations to 5. 4 minutes ago, smogsterking the Inspirati said: Their group is wide open now. Which after today Japan will be looking at winning both. Whoever finishes runner up has the unenviable task of facing New Zealand in the QF. It's looking incredibly likely that New Zealand will win their group.
DanFromDownSouth 1,706
Springboks vs Namibia now. Think this will be very lopsided. But after the last game who knows!

Blanco 4,900
It sure has Alan. The only consolation for me today was that my son won his first game of the season this afternoon while I was on the sideline getting terrible updates from the riverside ?
smogsterking the Inspirati 2,452
Today's a good marker for how good the Welsh are. They have a poor record against the southern hemisphere teams. It would be interesting to see if they played every team as if they were England they seem to raise their level for that fixture. Good start by them though
DanFromDownSouth 1,706
Remember seeing that Wales had lost something like 12 tests against Australia in a row. Until they beat them in Cardiff last year. Australia seem to raise their game against Wales, just like Wales do against England. Think Hooper is lucky to not be in the bin. A late no arm tackle. He'll be cited in the week for that.
DanFromDownSouth 1,706
Australia are just starting to get a foothold in this game.
