A question for the legal beagles on the forum..  Do the court cases that Trump plans to launch get funded by taxpayers or Republicans or "whoever loses". Not sure how system works, but assume that some sort of costs are involved and hoping that billionaires don't qualify for legal aid.

He has to raise the funds himself.

Judging by the fiasco of his Lawyer's press conference outside a landscaping business and next door to a porn shop (yes, that kind) I can see this legal challenge being nothing more than an absolute trainwreck.

Unfortunately the average man in the street wasn't lucky enough to inherit daddy's millions.

Worst of all, I'm pretty sure he won't qualify for any government assistance. He'll be one of those who "fall through the cracks". Poor guy...

I don't know, he'll have a roof over his head and warm meals every day. I hear prison will even provide him with a job!

I did hear he has a bit of unpaid tax that the IRS want to talk to him about. 😁

I didn't see it today but I'd probably argue they are the biggest games in rugby league whilst England and the Super League isn't competing at that level, despite how well the Brits have done over there.

I think Rugby League needs England to get a series win over Australia or a world Cup to improve the profile.

Yeah the problem with the Super League is that it isn't on the same scale as the NRL in terms of viewership or finances. The Super League is really insular too, as highlighted in the miss opportunity in reinstating Toronto to the Super League. If they opened up the game a bit more they'd bring in new sponsors and fans.

But they are really insular towards any teams out side the "heartlands" too. The Midlands used to have a really strong amateur league, made up of very good teams from the likes of Telford, Coventry, Birmingham, Leamington and us (Northampton).  But due to lack of any decent leadership or desire from the RFL to grow the game outside the heartlands, the Midlands league is finished and my team and Coventry are gone too. There was talk at one stage of us and Coventry moving into the Semi-Pro league, but neither team could make it viable financially off our own backs, which was a real shame!

Decent pathway down here we had a clutch of lads I played with go on a play for a couple of pro teams. One lad was captain of the London Broncos when they were in the Championship, and we had a few lads play at Oxford RL (before they went bust), Hemel Stags (before they moved 100 miles north) and Newcastle Thunder too.

Anyone watching the State of Origin decider this morning?

Since 2006 Queensland (Maroons) have won 11 Origins (8 in a row at one point), must admit during that 2006 - 2013 period Queensland had a ridiculously good team. But I've always backed NSW (Blues) due to them being always being an underdog but if they win today's game they'll have won 3 straight Origins.
