Spot on, I worked with Jimmy Carr on the 11 o’clock show years ago, he was a lovely guy, great fun and very down to earth as was Will Smith (not that one, the one from the thick of it) both funny and personable people.

I agree, comedians in particular are complex people and I’m always slightly apprehensive before I film with them as you never really know what you are going to get. I filmed with Alan Davies in February and he was lovely although I think the chance to escape home schooling his kids for the day was a major factor.

I'm jealous that you've gotten to work with so many comedians I look up to, I used to be around a lot of comedians who are now quite big names but who were doing the comedy circuit around 2005-2008. Sarah Millican did one of her first sets upstairs at the Dickens Inn and I had to collect her from the train station. She was in the process of getting divorced but she was incredibly chatty and bubbly.

Yeah I’m very lucky to have met a lot of interesting people in my line of work, not just comedians.
I’ve also met some d**ks as well! On a totally unrelated subject I filmed with 2 members of the Gavin and Stacey cast once and one of them was lovely.

I’ve not met Sarah Millican although I’ve seen her live a couple of times and she was very funny.

Some might say it was a harsh red, but I think it's a fair red. Vunipola doesn't really change height leading upto the tackle or in it, if he'd dipped just before I'd say yellow.

England score a try on the back of it.

Disappointing end to the cricket today. England looked set but collapsed after a  couple of overs. I think Roy and Bairstows roles are up grabs. I would like Hales to have been given a chance but think his days are over for England.

On the rugby massive disappointment for England this 6 nations. I think it shows we don't have the depth we were probably believed to have. But in the grand scheme we are a couple of years away from the world Cup so plenty of time to rebuild. Wales seem to have a knack to peak before the Lions tours then after the world Cup. It is nice to see Scotland actually being competitive again these past few years after years of being stuck battling for the wooden spoon.

I think we do have some really good depth in terms of options and potential international players going forwards, especially when you look at some of the form players in the Premiership. For some reason Eddie has totally omitted them from his thinking and the few genuine new players that have been brought in have largely not been used.

I also think the injuries to Lawes and Underhill have had a significant impact on us, plus the lack of competitive rugby the Sacarens players have had has had an impact especially early on against Scotland.

A disappointing Six Nations from an England perspective, but from a Lions perspective it's really exciting. I'm expecting the Lions squad to be heavily Welsh and plenty of Scots. If anymore than about 8/9 England players are selected I'd be disappointed, as I want Gatland to pick on form and not reputation.

France have scored a 4th (and winning) try in the 82nd minute of game!!!!

32-30 to France. Wales are denied a grand slam, but the title will be decided next weekend.

France need to win with a bonus point against Scotland to win the six nations. Any other result and Wales win.

It was very tasty. But it didn't look like much haha

That’s ok. Just another 2-3 dozen and you’ll have them squared (so in about 1-2 weeks😉

    • I mentioned a while back about what would attract players to come to us in comparison to other teams “at our level”.    After the good training facilities there weren’t any other suggestions.    We need to attract players to play with a vision of excitement and something that will get the riverside bouncing. Would you want to sign for hoofball and a groan filled riverside??    I wish I had the optimism of some of the members thinking that magically we will go against our norm for this transfer window. Expect more “players to drift”, players out of “boro’s budget” and “stalling talks” to be a common theme.    Even IF by some mirical you wanted to sign for us, wouldn’t you be on borrowed time whilst Warnock is only here for one more season? Added to that how he’s thrown players like Akpom under the bus, I’ll ask again. What about us as the moment is an attractive option?  🧐
    • Don’t think it’s been mentioned but Millwall are after Lumley. also an unnamed championship team have looked at William Boyle. Big centre back with a few goals in him. Don’t know anything about him and it’s probably not us but hey it’s prewindow

    • Forgot Liverpool still had a game in hand. A draw is the best result. Thankfully Iheanacho has just got one back.
