andrewparkes 12
Another poor showing for me. Wingers looked a bit better than previous games. Thought Adomah had his best game for a while, but that was mainly attacking the full back, his final ball was a bit poor, as was reachs. Tonlin i thought had yet another quite game and was far too isolated from Kike leaving us with nothing up front for the majority of the game. Majias, whilst not fully to blame for the goal again needs his positioning questioning and his command of the area needs to improve, cant remember once where he was shouting at the defence to organise anything, in fact once he was stood scratching his head, which was quite funny to watch. We still should not have lost this game though, we had enough chnaces, and corners to win 3 games, but for some reason seem to be struggling to take the chances. Credit to Reading though, they came with a game plan...of not playing football and wasting as much time as possible and they succeeded...with help from the referee who was either oblivious or just to stupid to realise what they were doing. Numerous times we counted 30+ seconds to take corners, goal kicks, throw ins etc... complete embarrassment to he game that performance. The classic one being the player who though he was injured, had the physio treat his right ankle for 3 minutes, then get up holding his left knee... then sprint off! Nothing more than cheating really. We need a plan B badly, as seem to be struggling a bit at the moment and really should have won that game
