I would just echo a lot of what has been written already, we weren't great and we really need to improve, in particular with regards to what we do with the possession we have and how clinical we are. We shouldn't be hanging on against teams of this calibre, it's been the same for a good while now and we're going to end up blowing a great opportunity if we aren't careful. Delighted with the three points but other than that we're short of where we should be in my opinion.

Just do what I did to stop the late nerves... fall asleep for the last 10 minutes :P three points, a nap and in-tact fingernails. What more could you ask for?!

We seem to be in a bit of a stodgy grinding out points run but we are 2nd with a gap to 3rd. If it all comes together then imagine how things could improve.

Tonight's belter from facebook:

Mark Whether

A wins a win yes I agree but we can't keep winning 1 nil it will end up being 1-1 Deerrr

Any ideas how that happens?

Wait i know this one!

Sometimes the other team try to score as well and if they succeed they get a.. i believe i'm correct in saying, goal?

So we would each have one of the goal thingies

But then there would be no winner...

I'm confused...

Whatever happened to the facebook comments thread? That was a personal favourite of mine a year or so ago!

    • I watch Man City closely, as my best friend is a long standing fan. City might have sent a scout or two to watch Dael,  but I doubt they'd try to fix their flawed defence with a largely unproven and injury-hit Championship youngster. Unless their plan was to sign him and then loan him out for a couple of years.   A sale-and-loanback deal might be palatable, if we reinvested the money in players who would actually suit the type of football Woody claims to want to play. It's obvious which deficiencies in our squad need to be addressed, and quickly.

    • I don't think anyone thinks the performance was good. I'm just not putting much stock into a game I expected us to lose for the reasons we lost it. The best I can say is we tried to do something different to how we played against Millwall, the last time we played a team like this. Between the two games, I think yesterday's loss of points was more down to individual performances than the tactical battle which is a positive for the tactics as much as it's a negative for some of the individuals in the team. Maybe next time, if we pick the right players, we'll get something more out of the game. It's early days, we can be forgiven right now for thinking we have room to experiment and not be too worried whether it goes right or wrong. That's all part of the learning curve.
    • Same story in Tampa  Buccs 18 up at half time .. Now only 3 up and Giants have the egg I hope it will end well, like your Bills 😉
