Boro_Phil 4
Oooh! Who's that team we call the boro Who's that team we all adore They sometimes play in red and white, whilst other times blue and grey with green trim, And they're f****ing performing relatively well this season, And we'll support the boro ever more Not sure about the exact wording, im probably wrong Corrected Corrected ;) Corrected ;) Corrected ;) Cheers everyone! :D
Naughty Boy 18
The one song I wont join in (Yet) is, Were going up...because it makes me uneasy and I quite frankly don't like it at this stage of the season.. Fans sing it at 0-0 or 1-0 up and I think it make you look silly if the other team scores.... For example if we have 3/4 games to go and we only need 1 or 2 points to guarantee promotion I will join in when we take the lead. Surly I'm not the only one that song annoys well before the end of the season.
Boro_Phil 4
If its being sung though, it makes no difference, no one will point you out and say at least that guy doesnt have to feel silly. Enjoy the moments! ;)

Humpty 3,246
Oooh! Who's that team they call the boro? Who's that team they all adore? And they play in red and white And they're f****ing dynamite And we'll support the boro ever more Not sure about the exact wording, im probably wrong Corrected Corrected ;) Corrected ;) Remember we're singing in first person as the pope. The last line makes no grammatical sense though...unless mid song he's realised who that team they call the BORO are and he's decided to follow OR he knew all along and was just keen on winding the Geordies up by pretending not to know who we are until the last line when he reveals the joke to the pilgrim Geordies. I prefer the 2nd explanation,

I thought this might be a good idea for those attending home/away games for the first time and would like to get involved making things a bit more atmospheric in our stadium and nervy at away stadiums. Maybe the season ticket holders and regular attendees can tell us all the regular chants and songs? I know a few but I'll start with my favourite. We're Middlesbroooooogh We're Middlesbroooooogh Everywhere we go Everyone will know We're Middlesbroooooogh

Yanic on the bench for Middlesbrough Yanic on the pitch at some point and I wonder to myself.... Will he score us another goal? like the one where he sidestepped a whole defence! LukeR 44
When is someone going to come up with a chant for Patrick Bamford? I'm sure I've heard one for him, it's pretty much pigbag but it goes "Patrick Bamford! Der Der Der Der Patrick Bamford! Der der der der" etc...
bugrit 31
Flintstones' theme tune: Bamford, Patrick Bamford, he's a goal-scoring prodigy Bamford, Patrick Bamford, he'll go down in Boro history. For anyone under 40, here's a reminder of the tune: [video=youtube]
