Just seen the goals all of them really good Alberts little juggle for the first one was brilliant as was Kike's awareness to dummy for Bamford.

Bamford's control and pass for Kike was top drawer.

Jelle was that fox in the box we need Albert's flick on in the build up for Friend's shot again was quality.

Bring on forrest!!!

I've been catching up and I want to say again how much I enjoy reading post-match discussions and how much I value members' match reports. Thanks for some really great stuff, everyone.

Only just seen a HD version of the first goal . Goal of the season contender or what!

All three goals were good team goals and hopefully it's a sign that the team are really clicking in the final third and will do so for the rest of the campaign.

Does anyone know why Millwalls allocation was so low? only 162 at the game but a mate of mine who lives in sunderland and is a Millwall fan phoned both MFC and Millwall ticket offices and was told by both the entire allocation was sold, just seems a very random number.

If that's the case then it's probably because millwall sent the remaining allocation back to Boro. And since boro planned with that in mind they didn't have enough match day staff in the away end to allow more tickets. Something like that.

    • I watch Man City closely, as my best friend is a long standing fan. City might have sent a scout or two to watch Dael,  but I doubt they'd try to fix their flawed defence with a largely unproven and injury-hit Championship youngster. Unless their plan was to sign him and then loan him out for a couple of years.   A sale-and-loanback deal might be palatable, if we reinvested the money in players who would actually suit the type of football Woody claims to want to play. It's obvious which deficiencies in our squad need to be addressed, and quickly.

    • I don't think anyone thinks the performance was good. I'm just not putting much stock into a game I expected us to lose for the reasons we lost it. The best I can say is we tried to do something different to how we played against Millwall, the last time we played a team like this. Between the two games, I think yesterday's loss of points was more down to individual performances than the tactical battle which is a positive for the tactics as much as it's a negative for some of the individuals in the team. Maybe next time, if we pick the right players, we'll get something more out of the game. It's early days, we can be forgiven right now for thinking we have room to experiment and not be too worried whether it goes right or wrong. That's all part of the learning curve.
    • Same story in Tampa  Buccs 18 up at half time .. Now only 3 up and Giants have the egg I hope it will end well, like your Bills 😉
