Boro vs Fulham (A) 3-4

Recommended Posts

Tiendalli has been written off far too early after one bad game in a very poor team performance. He should have settled into our team far more with the time he has been here so I wouldn't be surprised if he started on Saturday.

If Vossen is unavailable then that could mean that Tomlin will go back to #10 role with someone else coming in at LW. Reach would be the most likely to come in at LW, well unless Karanka is to take Bamford out of strike, and put him RW with Adomah LW with Kike being our striker. Forshaw did do well in #10 role last Friday though so that would mean we wouldn't have to disrupt things too much. Would be a difficult decision

Couldn't agree more. Tiendalli did ok for me at Watford - didn't pull up any trees but certainly wasn't terrible.

Hope everyone who is going makes as much noise as possible to make it sound like a home game to spur the boys on! Be The Twelfth Man!

Gazette.. Adomah, Bamford and Vossen could all miss this game... With the playoffs still a likely outcome would you risk any of them?...

If they are not fit they are not fit.

A front line of Reach, tomlin, Nsue and Kike still isn't bad. I suspect at least on of the three will play though. And one or more will make the bench. Don't think all three is going to miss out entirely.

Hopefully mind games to a degree but if so fully expect to see either Ledesma or Wildscut on the bench

If Bamford was okay to play 60 minutes with the injury when it was fresh, I imagine he'll be okay to play with it after a week.

I also fully expect all three to play. Good thing about these days is we can slip kike, tomlin, reach, nsue and a few other in without loosing too much quality.

I find it hard to believe Bamford was struggling as much as it looked against Norwich because risking him at this stage of the season would be madness especially when we had Kike on the bench..

I think the only one who might miss the game is Vossen but I hope he and the rest of the players were instructed at half time to play on any potential injury's.

Hopefully all our players are fit and ready to go.

The other good thing about this game is (I think) Watford play early and Bournemouth play on the monday.

Does anyone fancy Adam Clayton getting his first Boro goal on Saturday enough to put a bet on it??

If everyone is fit then play the same lads that did the job against norwich. If not the my team would be

Dimi

Fredericks-Ayala-Gibson-Friend

Leadbitter-Clayton

Ledesma-Tomlin-Reach

Kike

I can't stand Ledesma but I think he is the type of player that could just pop up with a bit of magic. The other 89 minutes hell be awful.

    • Annoyingly it's a mix of both of those first sentences you've written. The Government have gotten as much right as they have wrong, and at the same time some portions of the public do need to shoulder some of the blame. It goes hand in hand.
    • 😬 I don't mean to tar you with a brush here AR but: a) NB4 hasn't said anything about being a Labour supporter (and in fact, just above has dismissed such thoughts) b) Discussing a frivolous spend on something unnecessary is not 'Labour-tinted' and only makes you sound like you take a tribal stance against a political party In my opinion, the repainted plane served no purpose whatsoever and it 100% was done to 'better represent us globally', so it is as NB4 said, it was ego-driven, to make us look good. There are plenty of better ways to represent yourself as a country globally than a repainted plane. It's neither left, right nor centre to say that £900k of paint was a dumb idea executed during a time people were sat at home living off state-funded furlough schemes, wondering whether they'll be let go at any point soon.
    • It’s ok, we haven’t finished discussing wingbacks yet👌
    • I’m certainly not knocking the government for the support schemes, I’ve benefitted myself from the self employed grant, I’m just hoping that it will be continued as I’ve done just eight days work since lockdown.    My argument is, if governments can find money to fight unnecessary wars (the two listed above in particular) it can find the resources to keep the economy going.  I’m neither a Tory or Labour voter, but I do think the Tories acted too slowly and that the Labour Party have been ineffective in opposition, although I think part of the reason for that is that Labour don’t want to oppose the measures too strongly for fear of splitting opinion and causing disruption amongst the general public.    As for football league clubs, it’s not their fault, but the fact that mediocre players are earning more in a week than the PM earns in a year does lead me to question the way clubs are run financially. In a lot of cases it’s all a massive gamble to get promoted and as my old man used to say if you gamble, you have to be prepared to lose.
    • So its okay to spend a million quid on something completely non essential and ego driven in the middle of a global pandemic leading to a global economic crisis? And then call it dumb to criticise it?  To be honest I could spend all day listing the ways in which this government (which has been picked by boris on the basis of brexit support rather than any form of competence) has failed its people, but i learned a long time ago that facts mean nothing to people when it comes to this stuff, its all tribal.  For the record, I do not support Labour, or any British party. Id like us the hell out of the "Union". But thats a whole other topic that I'm really not getting into on a boro forum!
