Transfer Window - Summer 2015

Recommended Posts

It's such a shame he has had so many injuries. He could have been very VERY good.

Maybe our training beach will sort him out?

Yeah such a shame he's had so many bloody setbacks. Could have been a top premier league player

@LyallThomas: #Chelsea youngster Tomas Kalas joining #Middlesbrough on loan for entire next season. Full story on way. #CFC #MFC

Sky Sports have eclipsed The Gazette here :P

I assume that the news has come from Chelsea or another club, and that the Gazette are waiting for the word from the Boro.

That's what happened last season with Bamford - Reading enquired about loaning him, but were told by Chelsea that Middlesbrough were going to have first option on him. Someone from Reading then let that slip. So the first leak of the transfer news was from a club that was neither the one buying or selling!

tbf everyone knew this was likely to happen, also Vickers pretty much made it obvious with his article on right backs  last week

Great news on kalas! It was obvious it was happening mind ! But brilliant business played some very good games last season ( norwich away ) although at Bournemouth he was ran ragged by Wilson , but good player and very good business to start us off.

A few interesting names on the premier league released lists -

Adam Campbell: 20 years old now, obviously very highly rated a few years back. Surely worth a look as he could still turn out to be a very good player.

Tom Thorpe: Man United u21 captain last season. Centre back - not young at 22 but he could be someone that could break into the first team squad in 2016/17 if he had a good year out on loan.

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: 19 year old left back from ***nal. Surprised to see him let go as my ***nal supporting mates always say he looks like one of the brighter prospects in their u21 team.

Probably none of those would be ready for our first team immediately, but all of them have the potential to make it eventually
