Transfer Window - Summer 2015

Probably unlikely but I would like to see us go for Alireza Jahanbakhsh, had a great season at NEC with 13 goals and 18 assists and could potentially be a cheap risk.

Maddo will probably kill himself trying to pronounce that name.

I keep thinking of Gary Hooper. Doesn't get into the Norwich team so may be available for loan or on a cheap deal. Think he is a great championship striker. We don't need too many changes to the starting 11 though. Maybe some of our kids are ready for some more action after doing so well in their own leagues.

Would still like us to make a move for lex immers. Plays as a attacking midfield but is much more effective than Tomlin when drifting out left or right. Would only cost half as much as we've been quoted for Vossen, but I have a feeling that a deal is already in place for Jelle

I think Kalas will be our first signing of the season either season long loan or on a permenant.

There will be a lot of dealing to try and get Bamford back on loan. It will all depend on what chelsea want to do with him and who they bring in.

Vossen I would sign if we could get him for around the 2 million mark.

A left sided midfielder is a priority. I don't think antonio is an AK type of player so i doubt we will bid for him.

we do need plenty of new blood to replace the out goings, but i'm hoping AK drops the two holding midfielders and only plays one. give us a shape for like norwich after AN arrived. worked for them.

rb...cb...cb...lb

........dm

rw acm.acm lw

.........cf

this is what we should be doing when we go behind in games. we clearly lack a threat through the middle because of the two dm refusing to run beyond their man. stick another acm in there who can beat a man with trickery etc. then we mght actually be able to score goals against team who actually hold their shape.

I really like this.

Would fit Tomlin in perfectly. But who would you drop from Captain or Clayton.

For me Clayton is more mobile, so I'd keep him in the team.

No chance of Rhodes signing or Bamford coming back. Rhodes will go to Norwich and Bamford will want to test his game in the prem. (WBA, Palace etc)

I'd be happy with Kalas back. He is a great player and seemed to really buy into our team ethos.

I think we need a genuine left winger. I rate Carayol but still think we need an out and out left sided player.

Can leave: Nsue, Omeruo, Amoborieta, Woodgate (coaching staff), Fredericks, Whitehead, Ledesma, R Williams. Damia, Wildschut.

Surely they would free up some huge wage space for a good amount of loan signings?

Of that list i think Amborietta will sign and I think Nsue will stay. Wildschut I really dont know what is going on with him he looked quite good in his cameo appearances but has rarely had a sniff.

I think Ake will sign with Kalas from Chelsea I wonder if Baker regrets not coming to us last season now.

The onus this summer is to improve our attacking outlet. 5 more goals in the normal season would have had us promoted automatically but we will need more than that this season. I would sign Vossen though I think he will improve this season if he stays.

I reckon given the 2million we received yesterday we will have around a 5million net spend.

I think the likes of Rhodes etc and we'd be in the same position we are now. I think we need a striker that offers "something". Bamford/kike are good strikers but they don't excel in any area, not fast, strong, good in the air and they both tend to get bullied. Look at the teams that went up and you see outstanding attributes whether it be Jeromes power and pace or that diving *** from Bournemouth pace. We also have no plan b, like a target man to lump it up too if your behind with 10 mins to go.

We must have a more dynamic midfield next time round, yesterdays performance clearly showed that.

Maybe just maybe Carayol and Wildschut could potentially give us real pace and accuracy with crosses (I did say potentially).

Goal scoring well we all know that this has to improve and I jokingly said to some of the guys yesterday that I could see Bamford strutting his stuff at Watford next season

Would any of you take Rob Green from QPR if they have to have a big clear out or would his wages be to high.

Darren Bent could be an option up front showed at Derby he can still score in this league but another who's wages could be high.

I would say, that we need a new keeper to challenge Dimi, he has got a bit more error prone as the season has gone on.

Kike and Tomlin will both get us goals, but we need a lot more (forward) movement in midfield.

We also need someone that can take a decent corner (Foreshaw maybe?) as we've missed so many opportunities from set pieces, this season. For that reason, I would be inclined to cash in on our most talked about player, and therefore our most sale-able asset.

With the money that we could get for Leadbitter we could invest in a forward or 2, drop one of the holding midfielders and prove a little more dynamic. I know most won't agree with this assessment, but in some ways Grant is our most easily replaced player, and our highest value player too.

So, 2 forwards in ( Vossen? +1?), Kalas as RB/CB, Amorebieta in (AK likes him), a box to box midfielder (and corner specialist) and maybe a left sided midfielder, depending on Carayoll's situation.

Out, sell Grant, let Whitehead and Ledesma go, Woody may retire, keep the rest.

Sell Leadbitter? Would be an absolutely awful decision. We wouldn't even get very much for him as he is 29 now.

As for a goalkeeper, Ben Amos from man United? I believe he is out of contract and has said he will be leaving. Did well at Bolton this season according to their fans.
