northern boro 446
@reluctantnicko Jordan Rhodes. Meeting with Lambert at Blackburn was very brief. Basically shown the door and sent home.
ham_chop 36
Bristol City is a good move for Bradshaw. Can't score against us and it's the right step up, straight to club going for promotion where he might not be starting striker could ruin him. If we have any interest in him, it will remain whilst he's at City. They are making some good moves in this window
Naughty Boy 18
Rhodes deal back on but I don't want to get excited again just yet. Yes you do.. Your right, I do, But I don't want to get my hopes up again for the deal only to be off again.

BamfordsLeftBoot 4
Tomlin and Bradshaw is good business from Bristol city. Got pearce from Derby aswell, hopefully we won't have to deal with them next season.
wilsoncgp 9,230
Rhoys Wiggins leaving Sheffield Wednesday. That didn't last long! Only there since the summer!
Borodane 6,246
Just watched a video on the EG of Rhodes' goals. Boy that man can finish when presented with the ball around the box. Quite a few headers too and he is a tall lad. But his finishing is absolutely superb.
J.T. 640
Maybe we are trying to complete the deal as close to the deadline as possible so that Blackburn can't use the funds to strengthen ahead of this weekend. It's in our interest for Blackburn to be as weak as possible as we are the only team in the league still to play them twice.
northern boro 446
@reluctantnicko Rhodes saga. Probably three other deals relying on this one to happen ...

The last thing we want to do with this deal is annoy Blackburn and the Venkys, if we want it to go through. Yes they need to sell but they need to sell quickly. Already looks like they might miss out on McGeady because of this.

That's a bit far fetched and I really can't see us taking a risk like that.

Quite a few headers too and he is a tall lad. But his finishing is absolutely superb. He works hard for a lot of his goals & quite often doesn't have a teammate near him when he scores. He is a clinical striker who will score in any league.

boroat 44
I watched videos of Rhodes and Ramierez last night. That pairing could be very special. Rhodes thrives on the sort of service Ramierez looked adept at providing. Couple that with downings ability and Stuani supporting at the back post area. We would look very threatening. I hope it all works out.
