Borodane 6,246
Just how odd is that. Why didn't they just do a quick loan with a permanent in the summer.
northern boro 446
Fee is undisclosed http://www.mfc.co.uk/news/article/2016/middlesbrough-kike-2936917.aspx
chipchat 61
Just how odd is that. Why didn't they just do a quick loan with a permanent in the summer. I guess the paperwork must have missed the deadline - as happened with us and Phil Whelan under Robson.
boksicdink 1,937
Gutted he has gone! Nice guy. Very rarely do you see a message from MFC where it says "Kike departs Teesside with the best wishes of everyone connected with MFC." I think that is a sign of how well he was liked off the pitch. Downsouth 6,175
Indeed and thank you Kike for some really good memories (and some not so good) but truly a hard grafter who did seem to like the Boro fans
BillyWoofs_shinpad 1,884
Such sad news, seems a bit pointless if he can't play for them.
Borodan 16
Going to miss him. I hope that describing it as an undisclosed fee doesn't mean its absolute buttons :(
Air Resistance 26
Gutted with this. A player who really gave his all for the boro and showed true passion on and off the pitch. Some of my fondest memories of the boro this last few years have been in no small part down to kike, including the famous one at man city. Crowd always loved him at the riverside too. Absolute best of luck to him and he can leave holding his head high.
HandsOfSteele 12
Gutted!love nothing more than a passionate player, and by gosh is he just that! Will be sure to keep tabs on his career, all the best Mr Kike the original!
juninho9 35
A hard-worker and truly loved the Boro and just playing football. Reminded me a lot of Tuncay Sanli, who I loved too. Goodbye Kike and thanks for the memories. Go score a shed load for Eibar!
MMC 987
Goodnight sweet prince :(
pikerman 1,089
Best of luck Kike and thanks, you gave your all for this club and believe me it was appreciated. Always thought he was given a raw deal by Karanka at times and often wonder if he had started all the games he was eligible to play in,(instead of Bamford, Nugent etc), how many goals he would have got for us. Naughty Boy 18
It's disappointing it didn't work out for him, I liked his passion when he scored goals but unfortunately he didn't score enough. 16 goals in 75 games.. Very poor for any striker & explains why he has been sold.
Borodane 6,246
Can't see the fee being much lower than the 2 million we agreed with Wolves last week. However I find it hard to believe that Eibar have that kind of money to spend on a Championship player.
