Guest Changing Times
Just says we've made contact with his agent. Sounds like it's an article based on whatever info is already out there rather than anything new.
LinoJo3 3,098
Looks like it could actually be a goer!
Middlesborough 12
It basically means something along the lines off he's going back to Monaco for pre-season but his intentions are that he's coming back to the Premier League (he probably wants another crack at proving himself) and it seems like Middlesbrough is the most likely candidate. Middlesborough 12
Of course all that balances on the article actually being a reliable source haha
LinoJo3 3,098
Stubbzy said there's truth in it and he's generally spot on about things. There will be a lot of negotiations to do like, it's alright having an interest but another thing pulling it off.
LinoJo3 3,098
Another one saying similar shiz Colombian striker is wanted by the new tenant of the Premier League. By express request of the Spanish Aitor Karanka, coach of Middlesbrough, Falcao is the first name that the club has in mind to strengthen the squad. The clear disadvantage faced by newly promoted team is the salary of the player, although they will make an effort to have him in their ranks. Radamel was not summoned to the Copa America Centennial and out the false door both Manchester United and Chelsea, but the English club still believes that he is a valuable player and can give them a leap in quality. AS Monaco is the owner of the pass of the Colombian letter and have it to deal with next season in Ligue 1 and Champions League. For the moment, has not reached a formal offer for the player, but it is known that the 'tiger' would see with good eyes continue in England.
johnhorse 35
If we sign Bernardo Espinosa then perhaps Falcao would be more inclined to join, fellow countryman and all. I didn't really think that there was any chance of this happening but this doesn't seem to be going away.
Boro 4-1 Lifetime 2
The question is....do we want it to happen? Aging striker on massive wages who has so far not cut it in the premier league.

That's the thing for me.. It's not his age, it's not the cost, it's not his injury record.. Is the fact that he has had two chances st two big clubs in the premier league and simply not been good enough.

A goal every 300 minutes or so isn't bad and there's still a chance he could turn into a 20-30 goal a season player.

If he joined us he would get games and be idolised by fans. Strikers more than any other players rely on confidence. Who is to say that a year of playing every week at a high level wont see him flourish He may of course be crap but that goes for any signing As for wages/fees etc that is for Gibbo to consider and no-one else
