Tend to disagree with you there Dan1234 because in my mind it gives us a real chance to take as many points of those teams you would think will be near to us position wise, securing a second season is vital, we are not up with the "big boys" so to have a start as we have might make a big difference at the end of the season.

One thing is certain is how different a campaign it is this season and so few games as well!

Not saying we're ***ed if it doesn't happen, but we need a good start to the season to get enough points to be near enough safe by 15th April. Obviously anything is possible at the end but I can't stand another season of nerves at the end.:D

Pretty happy with the start of the season. We should put some points on the board there. So exciting seeing premier league fixtures rather than checking to see when the trudge down to Charlton is!

Mildly interesting that February is a mirror image of September with:

Sep: palace, everton, Tottenham

Feb: tottenham, everton, palace

Sunderland second game of the season is good, hopefully catch them when we've still got the excitement and adrenaline of playing in the premier league again.

Swansea, Hull and Burnley just before that tough run in. That will be out week of destiny. That will be the week we secure our position in the top 4. ;)

LIVERPOOL REQUEST FIXTURE SWITCH

The Premier League fixtures have not quite been out for three hours but Sky sources understand that Liverpool have made a request to Burnley to switch the match scheduled for August 20 from Anfield to Turf Moor due to ongoing construction work.

The match will go ahead at a full-capacity Anfield if Burnley reject the offer, we're told.
