De Sart looked really classy in the first half. De Roon and Clayton was quite a dynamic partnership, much more switching of role between them two than between Grant and Clayton. De Roons ball for Rhodes' one on one was absolutely beautiful. Rhodes took his goals well but should've had at least one more, as should Nugent and Pattison with their one on ones. Reach looked good to me, perhaps he still has a part to play? McGhee looked nervous but grew into the game as it went. George was George.

Interested to see how de sart does this preseason. Isn't he supposed to be one of the brightest young Belgian talents?

Think we might have unearthed a gem there perhaps!

Some well taken goals by the looks of the highlights. Jordan's finish on the turn was great. Don't get why he can't do 1 on 1's though :s

Can only beat what's in front of you and we did that comfortably

One of those "to much time to think about it" things maybe?

Good to see some positive reviews.

I feel we're so strong now in midfield with De Roon, Clayton, Leads, De Sart and Forshaw. Good to see Rhodes banging a couple in too. Both Rhodes and Nugent seemed to not do well with one on ones last season. Many strikers do struggle with these, like Brunners said, the striker has more time to think about it, and the keeper has more time to set himself in a better position.

Rhodes definitely needs to improve his one-on-ones. Likelihood we will get chances on the break this season, and we absolutely cannot be wasting them.

Sounds like a routine game, nothing much to glean from it. Cool to hear De Sart took a bit of limelight. I was one of those that has an inkling he could come into the team this season. Still early doors though.
