Hull City (OOP's I mean Hull Tigers) may need Harry Potter or Merlin to keep them up, fans already planning protests for 1st game of the season bad for them but no complaints here.

Even with a round table, they'd still end up at the bottom :D

Based on the turn out at Wembley how will anyone tell?

In all seriousness though I think they would be better off turning up with their football boots - just in case, might get a game.

Nah, Hull have never matched Blackpool's early Prem days, when their swashbuckling style made them really worth watching. You're right about them looking likely to emulate Blackpool's rapid decline, though. Can't help but feel sorry for both sets of fans.

Living in Hull, i have many friends and colleagues who are Hull fans. I know at least 6/7 people who have cancelled their season cards already, before the season has started!

The club is a total mess. The owners don't care about the football, fans, players or anything actually connected to football. All they care about is making as much money as possible by selling the club on.

All of the Allam's money has been loaned to Hull, he wants it all back in the takeover, and then to make a profit on top of that...............

That's why I wouldn't want anyone but Steve Gibson in charge, keep your foreign investors, we'll stick with the Boro lad made good.

How does he not understand that he's only likely to make a profit on a club that looks profitable? They've just got to the Premier League! Selling should be a cakewalk surely - all they have to do is look capable of establishing themselves as PL regulars and they'd be appealing to investors. Instead they already look doomed to be relegated by Christmas, so who would buy into that?

Too busy thinking Hull need to Americanise their name to gain followers from abroad... Glad that everyone told him to get stuffed every time he's proposed it.

The whole "investment from abroad" thing i'm not convinced on. I think they used it as an excuse to get "City" out of their name because.........................they have beef with the council.

When the Allams bought Hull, they wanted to buy the stadium from the council (Who own half of it). The plan was to then move Hull out of the KC and build a new stadium outside the city, developing the current stadium into a big leisure resort with hotels, casinos etc.

Hull City Council (see the similarities?) turned it down, and ever since then Allam has had a problem with them, and he wanted the "City" name removing altogether.

I know we're only two games into the season so it's far too early to judge things, but Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Sunderland are the three team in the relegation zone without a point so far this season. Considering the huge money that Bournemouth have spent this window, I haven't been impressed by the way they've spent it so I aren't too surprised by their less than impressive start to the season. Sunderland are in a mess as normal. Moyes needs to get some quality signings in soon if they're going to win their annual relegation battle. Crystal Palace's bad form from last season appears to have been carried over into this season. They have a lot of quality in their team and have just signed Benteke so they're better placed to move up the table than the other two teams.

The three promoted sides have had good starts overall but I'm still expecting Hull to be relegated unless they sign several quality players before the transfer window closes. Their team spirit appears to be phenomenal at the moment but that will only get them so far until injuries, suspensions and poor form strikes.
