Whoever said that Nixon is trying to make a story out of nothing, again, wouldn't be the first time concerning Rhodes. Really loses his journalistic integrity (what he has left of it) by using his influence in the media to affect transfer dealings that are related to him in some way or other. I'm pretty sure someone mentioned it was some kind of financial involvement with Rhodes through some means.

I'd take it all with a pinch of salt right now, really. I don't think he's going anywhere.

Stuani is going to have his head screwed on today. PVA is a good attacking fullback and will cause us troubles. Honestly I'd be surprised is Stuani lasts the game.

We also need to be awake at the back Sunderland go back to front quickly to get DeFoe 1 on 1 with the cb's.

Going with a score draw today.

We need a fast start, an early goal will silence the crowd.

Nixon, allegedly, has some ownership of the management company that represents Rhodes. Allegedly.

For all of Karankas skills as a manager he seems to be a very poor man manager, Rhodes shouldn't be going anywhere

That quote is bang out of order considering you have no f###ing idea of what goes on privately also Karanka as a man and his principles.

What if Rhodes has been given time away for the passing of his grandfather?

Then I will be pleased. I still won't rate Karanka though..... but you know that now.

Cheers.

If we only posted what we knew for sure this would be a very dull forum. Pretty much everything that everyone says on here is of their own opinion/perception so in my opinion it's not bang out of order

Would rather have Dimi in goal, how can valdes have an injury already?

Wish we had some blistering pace on the wings.

One way traffic at the moment , Clayton struggling to break down Sunderland attacks at the moment ... And Stuani is well... Being Stuani a forward out on the wing

    • If we aspire to being a better club than we have been in the past, we have to learn from the big clubs and be more ruthless. Sadly that means players we may like as supporters, but are on a downward trend, must be sold or let go to make way for better prospects. The only worry I have with this is our total inability to spot a good proespect, Friend and Ayala are probably our last buys that fall imto that category, and they are noiw on their way out.  Ruthlessness must also apply to our backroom staff and scouting set up.
    • Johnson is a bottom half championship player at best and average league 1 player at worst. Will be happy to see him go. Friend, if he has as positive an influence on the dressing room as were led to believe might be worth another year on really reduced terms to be ready to come into the side when needed ala woodgates last year or two.
    • Johnson is not very good though so I'd rather spend his wages on someone who might be better. I'd rather a specialist LB or LW instead of handy player like Johnson who doesn't excell in either position.
    • It’s great being at home, I haven’t worn a pair of shoes for 9 days.    The only downside is my agoraphobia has just cleared up, talk about bad timing!
    • Johnson is such a handy squad player as he can play in multiple positions. Make sense to keep him around as his wages can't be that high. Friend has nothing left to offer on the pitch in my opinion - would be great to keep him at the club in some kind of coaching/ambassador capacity though.
