Lurker have you heard anything regarding Ramirez that would suggest he is unhappy and wants to leave. I personally find it difficult to believe that he has issues with the club with the way Karanka and Gibson have helped him get his career back on track.

They do, and it's very odd. I'm not going to pretend I know a load about the lad, but my assumption has always been that he plays the No.10 role. But transfermarkt has right and left wing listed as secondary positions.

I think Karanka said what he said, cause the players can feel an atmosphere shift from the stands. It's quite natural though, as last season we were winning most home games and this year... not so much.

 

Let's hope all will be fine, like Lurker thinks.

Yeah I hope so too, I know it doesn't mean he's necessarily coming in as a winger but the amount of times they've said things such as "Boro are keen to sign a WINGER before next Tuesday's transfer deadline, with Stoke's BOJAN and PSG starlet Jese Rodriguez both being monitored."

 

And now they've just done a poll saying which winger would you like to see join Boro in January? Bojan, Snodgrass or Deulofeu?

To me it just suggests that the club have identified him as a winger and as such the Gazette are reporting it that way.

Definitely the 31st when we play West Brom. 

 

As he's said before, Karanka has nothing to do with finalising transfers so that won't be an issue. Logistics of players being in matchday squads might be though.

Bojan coming in will signal us going back to 4231 problem then becomes unless Karanka sees Ramirez wide with Snodgrass then suddenly Ramirez is warming the bench. I'm not overjoyed with Snodgrass I think he's overrated beyond his deadball quality he tends to turn it on and off quite a bit. But saying that like Bamford/Gestede he's a safe signing if we go down they're the players we'll need to fire us back up.

 

Still find it strange that since the summer the only central midfield reinforcement we've sought has been De Ron I still think we are 1 short there but that doesn't seem to be a target at all for Karanka.

Not heard anything but it does seem like somethings going on, hopefully it's all blown out of proportion and will get smoothed over.

 

Fallings out happen all the time, usually sorted pretty swiftly. I don't expect him to go. 

 

He's definitely injured though.

how much are we crying out for a deadball specialist though really. Fischers assist for the goal against west ham was probably the last time we put in a good cross from a set piece haha.
