Oslo_Syd 320
A couple more interesting takes on the Jesé saga from L'Equipe. it seems that Las Palmas' inability to pay his wages was not the only reason for Jesé not going there - PSG did not like the idea of him playing for them, for some reason. Also he was not training with the team yesterday morning.
BillyWoofs_shinpad 1,884
I'd forgotten about that, Will although in my experience, Bournemouth is a much safer place to live than Leicester.

Think Gaston would do better at Bournemouth than Leicester. He suits their system, would have some good creative players surrounding him. At Leicester, as many have already said, would predominantly see the ball launched over his head. And aye... Leicester is god awful :D
northern boro 449
Gazette "Boro only willing to sell Ramirez when they've secured targets It’s our understanding that IF Ramirez does leave Boro this month, it will be only rubber-stamped after Boro have landed their top targets. And the club, with five days to go until the transfer window closes, insist they have NOT received a concrete offer for Ramirez at this stage." http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/middlesbrough-news-transfers-live-karankas-12509254

Boro have had a fee agreed with hull.....but hull don't want to sell to a rival so we have our work cut out. Sounds contradictory. If they don't want to sell to us they don't agree the fee. If they agree the fee then surely it's up to the player to choose
"KM" 1,656
Hypothetically these could be our attacking options. Traore, Jese, Bojan, Downing, Fischer, Stuani, Bamford Negredo, Gestede, Rhodes Really think we'd revert back to 4-2-3-1 with all of those options. Don't forget Snodgrass or do you not see him signing anymore?

Without sounding like a spoilt child that really concerns me, I'm not sure how well Jese and Bojan will do for a team deep in a relegation battle. I'd prefer someone like Snodgrass who is fit, playing well and won't need half a dozen games to get up and running. For me I'd move heaven and earth to get Snodgrass and one of the other two, I think our survival chances depend on it.
Tudders80 674
The more I think about it the more I think AK wanted jese or snodgrass (in that order) and bojan more as an option if gaston kicked up a fuss. Presuming gaston has showed at least signs of wanting to leave (Fallings out etc). Possibly also wanted bojan as a replacement for downing but since downing said he wanted to stay the bojan thing has stalled a little. Maybe ramirez handing in a transfer request has reignited our need for bojan

So there's that going against him.
BillyWoofs_shinpad 1,884
It's incredibly frustrating that a player who has recently signed a long contract, who is a fan's favourite and one of the club's best players has decided that he wants a transfer to a rival team. It seems that there is little loyalty left in the game........... I expect that's the Stoke supporters take on the Bojan situation, very similar to our take on the Gaston stories, that's football I guess. If Gaston goes then I hope he goes on to have a good career, I wouldn't wish anything bad on him. I remember being gutted when Craig Johnston left, but I was only 12 at the time.
