Jay Rodriguez is set to leave Southampton.  You know what to do, Gibbo.

I'd be all over that like a rash. Think the lad is super talented...just gotta keep him healthy now!

Can play on either wing or as a striker.

been injured, just what our scouts like :)

Would be an absolute no-brainer, for me.

He's a striker with a poor scoring and poor injury record.

What we actually need are wingers and a number 10 with good injury records, goal-scoring records and preferably those that provide plenty of chances and assists.

Disagree. Jay Rodriguez is a good committed player with PL experience, and would fit AK's system perfectly. AK loves to play strikers on the wing, but Rodriguez can actually do it. Perfect.

Rodriguez. Young too. Both very good options in a position where we are lacking - would welcome one of the two with open arms.

---------- Clayton ----------

----- De Roon - Lampard -----

Traore --------------- Nolito

---------- Negredo ----------

Someone pass me some tissue.

No chance. Surely? If this happened, even just one of Nolito or Lampard, then I would gladly wipe you clean myself..

He has roughly a 1 in 3 record in the Premier League, and that's not taking into account how many are sub appearances. That's despite being played out wide or at No10 a lot of time.

That's better than any player currently on our books. What exactly are you expecting?

He's had two long injury lay-offs, I'll give you that.

Lampard came out and said he doesn't want to play for a team near the bottom. Doesn't fancy a relegation battle. So it would certainly be unexpected

We're not gonna be in a relegation battle though, we're just watching Hull, Sunderland and Swansea go down from an uncomfortable distance.
