Jesus Christ even I'm struggling to be positive on this one... Not a single person involved in this debacle has come out smelling of roses, and we must look easy picking for other teams looking in on the media furore that's surrounding us. Everyone at every level of the club needs to give their heads a shake and remind themselves of exactly what's at stake.

The likelihood of there being a big removal at the club this week is very high. Apologies are being demanded from very high up for certain statements and it could happen as early as tomorrow if the face to face doesn't go well.

AK is gone if we lose tonight imo

I hope AK sucks it up and apologies. His an emotional mess, a petulant child at times and an idiot for criticising both our fans and the board. And he's a lot to learn to bring the best out of us on an offensive front. But he is the best manager we've had in a long long time. Hope it blows over.

Wouldn't Ak normally just say that that's it for transfers if we weren't hopeful of getting someone else in? He normally doesn't beat around the bush about these kinds of things

Thought the same. He looked really quite upbeat in fairness. Still saying he had switched off on the transfer front since Friday, leaving it to the club to sort out what they can but did give the distinct impression that irons were still very much in the fire

AK just on ssn saying there are still people in the club working hard on transfers. Looked and sounded much happier.

You'd hope we've at least enquired about Jay Rodriguez. Injury prone or not he's the kind of player who could single handedly save a club from relegation.

Perhaps to co-sign the Rhodes transfer in time maybe!
