northern boro 446
Leo Percovich won't be involved with the first team for the foreseeable future after he ruptured his Achilles heel yesterday at the training ground http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aitor-karanka-dedicates-middlesbroughs-swansea-12337025

SmogDane 4,052
A friend of mine did that in a match one day. They say it doesn't hurt that much, it just gives a creepy whipping sound, and then you can't walk or stand on that leg :) Get well soon, Leo
Barticus 29
I did it years ago, apart from the awful snapping noise when it goes it's not really painful, just feels odd, I did playing 5-a-side then went in goal for the last 10 minutes before walking to the pub, it was only the next morning when my calf was all black & blue did I realise something was seriously wrong, I was lucky, mine only separated by about 4 inches so the scar isn't too big, the worst thing is been in plater for 3 months with you toes pointing down, I like to say it ended my playing career but that is using some artistic licence, poor Leo

DanFromDownSouth 1,706
@Brunners, @TeaCider24, @Changing Times and @Blanco Here's a thread on his injury. CT think it was @truka11 that mentioned the fall out.
