Boro vs Accrington Stanley (FA Cup 4th round) 1-0

Recommended Posts

you lot a a disgrace to be honest. Playing against lower league opposition doesn't mean we'll win by 10-0.

If anything its hard for the player who get kicked around, long balls, etc.

How many teams have we seem fail. So why do we think Boro will win with ease?

Where were the boos from? Sat in a very quiet north stand and didn't hear a single person booing.

Dominant in possession but not creating enough.

Know what it's missing?

Gaston Ramirez.

At least the fans are doing as they're told today then.

Edit - The idea that we're missing Ramirez when we have two recent signings and one summer signing in our attacking quartet today should be alarming to everyone really.

As I've said repeatedly, it won't matter who we sign, if we don't change our formation and / or tactics, so that the players we do have, can play to their strengths.  :(

Just read that apparently we are also interested in signing Grealish from Villa...  :dodgy:

I don't think Boro will win with ease.  That's kind of the point.

It's nice to know that the changing rooms at Stanely's ground are really small. Nice touch from the BBC Tees commentary.

On Final Score the commentators have been comparing half time lunches at a few grounds.

Good to know ours isn't the only boring one!  :D

Stanley with an effort that goes wide.

Bamford with two attempts and Downing with another. None forcing the Stanley keeper into a save...

Boro have now had 12 shots at goal, but still just the 2 on target.
