Fischer wanted the pass when Gestede was in, he was totally unmarked. He wasn't in better position for the Leadbitter part of the play, I agree there, he was probably still just annoyed he hadn't been passed too earlier. I agree. Probably annoyed. Makes you wonder if he's finally settled and might start coming good, or if it's because we're playing a league 2 team that are trying to attack us so he has loads of space. Downing, Fischer both looking good. Excellent finish by Gestede. Our decision making still not great, multiple chances spurned by lack of a pass or a badly timed pass. AnglianRed 6,320 Posted February 18, 2017 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Good first half. Pretty even for the first 20 minutes or so, but Boro started to dominate after the penalty. Think Oxford can count themselves a little unlucky that their goal was ruled out for a foul (Bernardo looked like he was stretching for the ball and going down anyway). Boro stuck another nail in by scoring immediately afterwards with a brilliant move that had an end product for a change. We looked fairly comfortable from that point on.
