I think Ben will move because he wants to play Prem' not because we need to sell or He's offered more money etc. only hope it's an top 8 club, anything lower would be like a kick in the teeth.

He looks excellent in this highlight video, what stands out was Brentford's defence looks awful so he's regularly left exposed and saving one on ones rather than just long distance efforts.

I like the fact that he leads with his feet in one-on-ones and he looks like a good shot stopper, but I don't recall seeing him catch a single ball in that video?

I'd prefer Ruddy/Westwood or Johnstone.

He's a giving away corners specialist

So this Wing lad scored 37 goals last season from Attacking Midfield... that's insane. I know it's in the tenth tier, but hopefully he can prove to be our answer to Jamie Vardy.

Btw what happened to that Argentinian left back we brought in last season to play in the U23s? Is he still with us or was it just a short loan to have a look.

Thought it was a year loan, don't know if he's still around or not

Ok hand on hearts time guys, do any of you expect Gibson to be playing in the PL this coming season?

Personally I do because the fee for his transfer I feel will be very important to Garry Monk and co to get the right players in for a determined promotion push.

Honestly at this time I do not know just what direction Boro will be going as I feel last season could have an adverse effect this time round therefore quality players into the club is a must

I absolutely 100% expect him to leave and also it's the right thing for him to do. He's on the cusp of a full England cap in a World Cup year. It will break my heart but at the moment he's better than what we can offer him.

Here's my Gold, Silver and Bronze of possible outcomes

Gold... Loan to a top half Premier league team for £3m with a option to buy if we don't get promoted. Obviously any loan fee will come off the sale price.

Silver... sell to a top 6 team for £40m once the bidding war has started.

Bronze... sell to a middle third prem team for £25m (this is the option that is most likely)

Middlesbrough are closing in on a permanent deal for Sam Johnstone after talks broke down with Aston Villa #Boro #Middlesbrough

This sounds more and more like agent talk trying to push through the Villa deal. That said, a GK roster of Johnstone, Ripley and Dimi would do us very well for the Championship I'd say.
