Someone needs to tell Sky Sports they haven't got the news on Mahrez as an exclusive Alan Nixon from The Sun reported it first yesterday afternoon

Denmark international Viktor Fischer has returned to his homeland after completing a transfer to FC Copenhagen from Mainz.

The 23-year-old only joined the German side in the summer from Middlesbrough.

Crikey. Guess he's not had a good time there either. Hope he finds his feet again at Copenhagen.

And then puts them on the correct legs.

Funny reading the comments from Harrison yesterday in that he was looking forward to the challenge of helping the boro into the play off places.

So I guess we've ruled out any hope of automatic ( which doesn't surprise me give the position we are in) At this rate play offs be a outside bet

FULHAM'S FREDERICKS REPLACEMENT?

We understand Fulham will target Middlesbrough’s Cyrus Christie if they lose Ryan Fredericks today.

However, Fulham have not received any bids for Fredericks and, as things stand, he won’t be leaving Craven Cottage.

Fredericks is out of contract in the summer and has been discussing a new deal since December. We have previously reported he was of interest to Swansea this month.

I'd be very worried about injuries if Christie left. Only cover for both full back positions would be Fabio who doesn't want to be here.

Christie doesn't fit TPs system. If it wasn't for the fact that we're so light on defenders I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave.

No chance Christie leaves. We already let Roberts go without really replacing him, if it wasn't for Shotton I'd think it was more likely we brought in someone else for right back.

Sky Sports reporting there has been an offer from a Championship club for Isaac Success.

Interestingly, @TransferCentre9 (5k followers) reported a loan bid from Boro for Success this morning.

If it's true, I hope it's a success!

He's a right footed predominantly left winger, which in my opinion suits us more than the left footed right winger we just acquired.

Could be devastating in the championship

Isaac Success is a similar player to Braithwaite IIRC. Known to attack from the left side but not a winger.

    • This says it all to me.. "Steve knows what the situation is. He’s not daft. He has been in football a long time. He knows the crack.” What the absolute hell is this club?  It's like he's some lad from down the club who's having a go at running the Boro.  Oh hang on.. Club is knackered boys and girls..  it's just a load of lads having a lovely time.
    • I don't have a huge problem with a player being dropped for acting like a *** behind the scenes so in that sense I'm ambivalent about it as I think he deserves to be in the side but if you're a *** then tough luck.  Where I would have a problem is if his poor behaviour is directly linked to being dropped undeservedly in the first place then I might have a little sympathy with him.  If that is the case then it would feel like a manager trying to exert control on the group by singling out an easy target - a young lad who hasn't played much and by all accounts is a bit of a loner and probably isn't right at the heart of the group in a social sense.  I would also have a slight issue with us signing a bloke who has spent his career doing the same and worse and then making an example out of Spence.  It feels a bit like we're sending mixed messages there.  The argument that he did it before he signed here doesn't wash with me, you're still signing a player with a history of the same thing.
    • Well in that case: Woody we don't hate you. You're just not competent enough to guide us out of this relegation battle. Please resign.
    • Forest can't break down teams who sit back and let Forest attack. It's happened to them so many times this season and that's how we should aim to play, on the counter attack. Maybe we'll somehow fluke a draw or a win cause Forest have been a bit of a charity to *** teams this season. But let's be honest, we've got Woodgate in charge so it'll most likely be a 1-0 loss.
