wilsoncgp 10,100 19.9k
@ACCHarwin Just had update meeting with @ClevelandPolice Chief Insp Emily re tomorrow’s @Boro @LUFC game. Further meeting later today with the club and @MbroCouncil #Publicsafety is clearly the priority That reads to me like the police want to call it off and I don't blame them. SouthernSmoggie 5,276 7k
Video of the Riverside looks like something out of Game of Thrones :nervous: If they're expecting more snow tonight/tomorrow I can't see the police being happy with it going ahead

Those were the days :P Watched a game like that a few days ago. Horrible to watch and towards the end you couldn't even make out the lines even though they were painted orange. And to top it off my team conceded a 94th minute equaliser. That kind of bad luck has to stop soon with my teams :@ :@

Changing Times 15,937 23k
The standard of football in Scandinavian leagues is basically pub standard though so it really doesn't matter what the conditions are like or whether you can see what's going on. Play in a foot of snow or on a perfectly clear pitch and it's all the same.

The condensation pipe on our boiler keeps freezing too so our house isn't much, if at all, warmer than outside!

Even if you only put it on roughly for now it'll still save you a whole lot of hassle. You'll get some ThermaWrap cheap as chips from most hardware / DIY stores. We're planning on doing something like that, the worst part is that our boiler is upstairs so the pipe goes half way up the house. If it freezes near the bottom we're okay but if it freezes near the top, we're screwed either way!
