What’s it like down in Boro. Like Siberia up in sunderland atm! Hope it doesn’t get called off, but can understand the reasons if it does.

Isn't it just, mate! It's bloody terrible, half the roads weren't even gritted on the bus into the centre this morning. The condensation pipe on our boiler keeps freezing too so our house isn't much, if at all, warmer than outside!

Try and grab some insulation for your condensation pipe whilst you're in town. Even if you only put it on roughly for now it'll still save you a whole lot of hassle. You'll get some ThermaWrap cheap as chips from most hardware / DIY stores.

We're planning on doing something like that, the worst part is that our boiler is upstairs so the pipe goes half way up the house. If it freezes near the bottom we're okay but if it freezes near the top, we're screwed either way!

You’re having a stinker there mate. These stupid mackem houses aren’t up to much :)

Sounds like they'll try everything to get the game on, it just depends on whether the police take the decision out of the club's hands.

I've been out in the car today and the main roads weren't that bad really.

I'd say the fact we've heard very little about it today despite police meetings internally and meetings between police, Boro and the council... as well as the fact there's a council gritter outside the stadium... that the club has managed to push back so it can go ahead and no doubt will be monitored overnight. Decision will probably get made early tomorrow morning so Leeds can set off as early as possible for the game.

The majority of schools closed, people being advised by the police not to travel unless its  absolutely necessary, its good to see that SKY and Boro have got there priorities in order with regard to the safety of travelling Boro and Leeds fans.

That's because football fans get treat like *** in general.

People don’t have to come to the game if they are scared of driving to the game with a tiny bit of snow. Dear me.

Will those people who choose not to attend get a refund if they've already bought a ticket then?

I've driven in snow blizzards across the M62 to watch Boro at Goodison and Wolverhampton the same, Dear me, doesn't make it right when there's kids who go to games. If this is a tiny bit of snow you need to change your TV, because your picking up the wrong country, my opinion, this is all to do with the SKY money or this would have been called off.

BBC weather forecast is heavy snow showers till 10am Friday, EG website saying we could have another 10cm's, bloody sick of it, should *** off back to where it came from.

I feel if the snow stops at 10am and doesn’t snow for the rest of the day then we should be ok. Should give more than enough time to get the roads safe.
