Brilliant result, proper chuffed with that. The work rate and application was there today, and it made such a difference.

Looking forward to going to Derby next Saturday... they are rocking after a horrendous result today and we can definitely do them over.

Sounds good, will give you a shout on the day. They are there for the taking... let's hope Paddy will be okay for it.

Much needed result and performance that was. I thought we played well, especially in the second half against a bristol side who were lacking in ideas and happy to stick 11 men behind the ball and defend even when 2-1 down...

Ayala had another cracking game and traore was more influential than he has been in the last couple of games. Assombalonga was poor when he came on, had a couple of chances to shoot and tried to lob it over the keeper each time. Just put your foot through it lad.

Glad bambam is OK. Had me worried for a minute (or 10).

" TONY PULIS jokingly told Patrick Bamford that he is "soft" after Middlesbrough’s victory over Bristol City was blighted by an incident when the striker was left floored for more than nine minutes.

The incident which stemmed from an awkward fall when he went for a ball with City’s Aden Flint led to 11 minutes of added time being played at the end of the first half.

But Bamford was back with the players to celebrate three points after he was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure having been stretchered off shortly after the half hour mark.

Middlesbrough were level at that stage when George Friend had cancelled out Milan Djuric’s opener, and then Daniel Ayala struck the winner 22 minutes from time to lift Boro up to fifth.

Pulis said: "Patrick's in the dressing room now taking some stick off the players so he's fine.

"He went down either winded or he's hit his head but he's fine. I've not spoken to him or the physios, I've just hammered him for being soft. Only joking. I have hammered him though!"

Very good win today, we seriously need to start letting Traore take all the set piece's because his delivery is exceptional. He plays the crosses with power yet flat enough to attack, no floaty aimless balls.

A congratulations to him today for getting into double figures for assists also, 11 and counting. Very good return.

They are good. Plus he's quick enough that he can run in and attack the incoming corner that he's just taken...
