"KM" 1,656
from Ritchie to Waghorn in 24 hrs https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/33891 16 goals and 11 assists last season. Don't know much about him though. Definitely see us signing a new striker this summer.
Borodane 6,246
I can't help but think that Waghorn is a young version of Jonathan Walters. Or is that just me. Very busy forward, but not quite the winger we need. I'd have him instead of Gestede but I'm not sure I'd replace either Britt or Bamford with him.
Dan1234 1,048
Waghorn was this seasons Daryll Murphy. He'll probably score 3 next season. If we replace any of our current strikers with the likes of him I give up.

Will 2,958
Wag horn was one of the most effective players in the league last season, not just with goals but plenty of assists as well.
Foogle 2,078
Would we be bringing him in to play on the wing is the question? Excellent crosser and set piece specialist, would be a good signing for the price, doubt he would copy his exploits last season for us, but even if he makes half that contribution to goals and assists he'd still be a good signing... LinoJo3 3,098
Ffs wasn't he shot out of rangers he was that bad? This is the first time in his career that he's scored more than 5 goals in a season. Surely we can't sign this guy.

Surely we can't sign this guy. 49 Goals 34 Assists in 211 Championship games according to Transfermarkt is not a bad return, wouldn't be desperate to sign him but he fits the bill at the right price. LinoJo3 3,098
Fits what bill? Bang average championship 'scrapper'? Was there any point last season where you stopped and though hmmm I wish we had more bang average players in this team? Me neither
Essuuaitch 330
didnt he pale into insignificance at Sunderland years back too. add that to his CV. On the Brighton gossip a page or so ago...and not championing the idea btw, might Tomer Hemed be the player if not March. seems a bit of a Pulis type forward ....just a thought. Will 2,958
Fits what bill? Making goals and scoring them. You know, the whole point of football?
Snowblind 1,711
Alan Nixon proving that he sometimes fits the 'dud' insult he grows around so often... "Bolton. Looking into an ambitious one. Jack Rodwell. Either loan or free if he gets settled up at Sunderland. Had injuries. But quality in there somewhere." Tweeted an hour ago... Rodwell was released 2/3 days ago!!! wilsoncgp 9,230
Fits what bill? Making goals and scoring them. You know, the whole point of football? And what Lino is saying is we need someone who has done that consistently. Like Jordan Obita.
