BillyWoofs_shinpad 1,884
If the sale means that we can bring in the players we need, then so be it, £12m is a little low, but with the odd add on, it’s not far off.
wilsoncgp 9,283
I'd rather keep him at that price. After all, isn't the reason we're waiting so long to do business is because prices are coming down? If we fall in line with that, weren't we just better off doing all the business sooner? BearSmog 1,382
The price isn't too far off, not worth more than £15mill in my eyes so the closer we can get to that the better
Smoggydownsouth 1,621
My biggest fear is come deadline day we lose Adama and Gibbo have plenty of ££ but then clubs hike prices because they know we have cash and we can’t get any in.... we lost the those 2 then I think we need 7 in
mendieta420 1,007
I’d be ok with it if I knew wtf is going on with Ayala

ManBearPig 1,853
15m would be a fair price I feel. Take the boy hood zeal away and he's only had a couple of seasons premier league and has been relegated twice.. Fry can step in now with Ayala, Shotton, Flint and maybe Friend as other CB cover? Get Bryan to come in as left back and also rb cover if and when needed. I'm still thinking that we need to offload at the top end of the squad before we "reinvest" potential Gibson money into attackers, else we will have a top heavy squad.. I agree but the add ons need to be £2m if Burnley survive relegation £1m if he plays in Europe £2m if he wears black/red Adidas football boots £2m if he plays on a Saturday £1m if he plays on a Sunday £1m per England cap in the next 2 years 33% sell on fee £5k Per Parmo he has in the season
SmogDane 4,055
This starts to remind of when nothing happened and then on deadline day we signed Guediora , in a position we didn't need cover for... :D :D :D
thatoldchestnut 583
Well if we could drag a couple of million more out of Burnley then it is time for him to go. Possibly even at the 12 million. I don't think his value is going to increase.
LinoJo3 3,191
Reckon will get £12m rising to £15m
Jimmy 140
I’d sell him to Burnley or whoever if we could get £15m for him. That’s good money. Especially if it’s reinvested back in the squad.
DanFromDownSouth 1,706
I think £12 Million with a few million in addons is a decent fee for Gibbo. It allows us to re-invest. With the fees mentioned we could buy Bryan and Waghorn and have a little left over. If they are geniune targets of course.
J.T. 640
As much as I think that £15/16m is the most we are likely to get for Gibson, you would think that we would be able to negotiate some sort of deal with Everton which would be worth more than that i.e. Besic + £10m. SmogDane 4,055
Burnley have made a £12m bid for Boro defender Ben Gibson, according to Sky Sports’ Keith Downie. According to Everything MFC
