Summer Transfer Window 2018.

Here what you say guys but would it not be better for Besic to be seen publicly as a Boro player by now?

He really could make a difference to Bolasie's preferred choice.

It was mentioned at the time that Besic was going back to Everton to sort out some contractual stuff with them, and I think the tweet (by the Sky man) said that Bolasie was closer to being sorted so it was always going to take a bit longer.

I just think that because there were photos of the two of them here, the interest got out sooner than the club would have ideally liked and we all jumped the gun and thought that everything was sorted and would be announced that day or the next morning.

Well we have a past when it comes to signing injured players and them taking a lot of time to make any sort of impact, we need to progress as of now so hopefully a line will be drawn under Bolasie today.

Out of the two, Besic is by far the safer option.

We are hoping to sign and get the £25m Bolasie that Everton signed from Palace, in reality would we get that?

With the wages being thrown out Bolasie is a gamble. He could be fantastic, but he could also be a shadow of his former self. It takes a long time to get over an injury like that.

Bolasie works out at about 3-4 mil, not a huge gamble when you consider we’ve sold all our best players and are sat on a lot of cash.

Aston Villa are also working on bringing in Anwar El Ghazy from Lille. IF they get both him and Bolasie they will be so much stronger than they are now. Hope they miss out on both :)

I'm trying to come round to the idea he might not be joining, that isn't helping!

If they get both, that'll surely mean we get Ojo then.  Does anybody know if any other clubs are in for him?

I would imagine a whole host of Championship clubs are in for Ojo if he is available.

I still don’t know why people assume we are ‘sat on a lot of cash’. We have no idea what the money from those players has gone towards. It could just be wiping off some of the debt on players brought over the last few seasons.

One things for sure, the club isn’t self sustaining with input from Gibson without the money from parachute payments. £3-4 mill may not seem like a huge gamble now, but if we don’t get up and the payment end - £3-4 mill is more likely to be our entire transfer budget.

El Ghazi's been on the cards for a few days the new owners hooked up with Mendes and asked him to find them an available winger on a loan to buy from Europe et voila. Still waiting for another paper/outlet to confirm the Villa guys reporting from last night you'd have thought even though Bolasie hasn't announced anything we'd have awoken to an avalanche of stories that he's chosen them other journalists don't seem as sure it seems especially Nixon who you think has a line on the players representative and the managers still feels like there's hope.
