If Gibson is indeed staying then I reckon Pulis may play a 3-5-2 formation like this

Randolf

Ayala Flint Gibson

Traore McNair Clayton Downing March/Ritchie

Bamford Assombalonga

3-5-2 only works with attacking wing-backs. None of those players are wing backs.

To be honest, I'd rather have Crouch as an option on the bench than a Gestede.

My theory is though that, if Crouch is with Boro is Austria, it's simply to be at peak fitness using the Pulis training routines in the twilight of his career.

£10m!! Never made more than 20 starts in a season yet.

Only one highlight video of him so not much to go on, doesnt look pacey but hes got quick feet and a nice left foot, gets his head up as well and actually picks players out. Looks like a decent signing.

Waghorn would be better than Traore though, more goals and assists.  We'd be crazy not to get him in.

Dear god.

Boro fans eh?

I think that was possibly an ironic statement.

Are you not keen on Boro fans, Beamish???

I was trying to lure Lino into the net but to be fair to him he rightly ignored it.  It's nice to see Beamish back to his best though :)

Have to be a bit more subtle than that ;)
