Summer Transfer Window 2018.

Recommended Posts

Boro fan on Twitter has just said the same thing. Said manager has told them to pay the release clause.

Nothing new. They are obviously interested but seemingly not at 18 million and we are not interested in anything else but 18 million up front.

If he wouldn't be a starter for them, I can see why they wouldn't want to pay £18m for him...

Would Traore even want to go if they trigger it, he's only just become a starter here. He'd probably hold out for a Newcastle or Huddersfield where he'd actually start?

It's whether the manager's insistence is worth an extra £6m too. Would Nuno be the one making that decision at Wolves?

I think they can probably tell that we won't listen to offers valued lower than the release clause so if they do up the price, it's either going to be potentially a lot more than £18m or it's going to have to be the £18m outright.

He'd be their record signing at £18m as well, would they want to break their record for a project player?

The striker from West Ham is coming

Good news. But honestly I can't get excited until we've brought someone who will actually give the ball to him/assombalonga to score.

Is this information or just repeating what you’ve seen?

Man Utd moving away from Maguire as a target to mina from Barcelona (they guy Everton have been linked with). May mean everton move onto Gibson if man Utd get mina.

We could end up losing bamford, Gibson and adama. How depressing is That?

Bamford and Gibson I could live with. Still don't want to see Gibson leave but if it is for a silly amount I can't see us declining.

Adama would hurt though.

Not very considering Bamford wasn't first choice striker at the club and we were expecting the other two to leave anyway.

Wolves are still pushing ahead with a move for Adama Traore despite his shoulder injury and will make an imminent £18million bid. (@SportsPeteO)

OK it would be a blow losing gibbo, to Everton but we are well stocked in the CB position, with ayala, flint and fry. Also with Shotton and mcnair able to play there, so there is plenty of cover. IF we could get a good deal from them including besic it wouldn't be so bad and Money to bring a full back in too.

Adama will not be fit for Saturday, see Enes Mahmutovic instagram

Was anyone expecting him to be fit? I thought it was pretty obvious that he wouldn't be playing. He dislocated his shoulder.

    • I agree with you mate. I think Roberts needs a rub of games. This idea of throwing him in here and there is unfair on him and neither will it see him produce his best. He might produce some mediocre performances to start with but give him a run of games and then see what he can do. If he fails to produce over a run of a half dozen games then by all means pass judgment For what it is worth i would be looking to get someone in on left who can cut in. A roberts equivalent almost. Bolasie would have been a good fit.
    • Historically this is the sort of team we struggle against, but it is in our favour that they will not be coming here for a point as only a win benefits them. If we use the pace we have effectively and sit on their danger men, then the odds should be in our favour as I cannot see Warnock settling for a draw in this game. Might not be a big win, but if we can get a goal in the first twenty minutes, their confidence will not be boosted and we won't be on the edge of our seats for 90+ minutes. 2-0 should be possible and anything extra would be great.
    • The way the results went last night a win is now imperative if we are to keep momentum and belief going. A draw or perish the thought a defeat would be nothing short of disastrous. It does make you wonder "what if" at Blackburn had we seriously went for it. Of course we could have and then equally we could have lost but at some point NW has to start delivering a few wins which means he needs to change things at the sharp end. No better time to do it than tonight against what is currently the worst team in the Championship.
    • Derby bottom of the league with one win, and a crap  goal difference, it'll be very disappointing if we can't turn these over especially on our own patch, anything other than a win is a failure IMO, and not acceptable.
