One or two injuries and were back to leadbitter, I definitely still want besic. Also with wing, this will be is first full championship season, he'll have dips im sure.

Yeah you’re right about that.

Indeed, let's not jump the gun with the lad. It's a long season. We need better options than Leadbitter from the bench if possible.

The way I look at Wing is he's showing enough that makes me think we don't need to sign a Freeman type but still need another body to cover Boots/Clayton/Howson/McNair.

Hopefully tonight’s first half formation/performance will convince Bryan to reconsider. He would be perfect in that left wing back role. C’mon Aden, get on that phone!!!

Looking at the game tonight braithwaite, wing and howson were all excellent.

Looked better with 352 if I’m honest, braithwaite looked a different player with a license to roam, wing and howson kept the ball brilliantly higher up the pitch and shotton looked like Kyle walker haha.

We looked poor 2nd half when we went 433, couldn’t keep the ball once wing and howson went off and downing disappeared.

I’d build the team around wing, braithwaite and howson based on what we seen, could see braithwaite linking up well with Hugill, add a bit more threat in the wide spots and we will be looking good.

I do think we lacked a bit of technical ability that will show against better teams however, we were still mostly dangerous from set pieces rather than open play. But that back 3 looked solid af.

Tim Nash, journo from Wolves, has confirmed it and said they're due to announce it tomorrow morning. I believe he's been a bit off in some parts of this transfer but he seems very confident about it, he's gone on a bit of a joyous spree of tweeting about it.

I just clicked on this after having my volume on full blast just to hear the commentary on the video stream.

Randy Marsh is now screaming 'no' in my head over and over again and I can't get it out of my head.

TP: I’ve had a meeting with the chairman this afternoon. I have targets and I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get them; but that’s the way I am.

    • I remember sitting in a pub in the Algarve that had a load of different games in TV for that 8-1 game. Was with my dad and brother, next to a bunch of united fans (were playing Wigan who were just above us going into that final weekend). Drunkenly said to one of them that I'll get a round of shots in for every goal they put past Wigan, and one of their group chimed in that he'd do the same every time we scored.   Safe to say I got the better deal
    • I think you may be right. I seem to remember moaning about the lack of goals we scored that season.
    • That City game was a freak game rather than a brilliant performance.  It was common knowledge that Ericsson was going to be sacked after the game so I don't think their players were fully motivated, City went down to 10 men and a few of their players threw the towel in after that. We scored a few great goals in that game but it felt a bit like a friendly game towards the end of the match.  I think that result has become more famous over the years because of how big City have become, before they had the money they were no bigger than us as a club and it felt like we used to beat them every season.
    • Funnily enough enough as far as I remember that 8-1 was the only game that entire season when we scored more than 2 goals. I may be wrong but it's what I remember, didn't bother checking haha.
    • I went for Brentford.  I think the games I'd like to see are the last game at Ayresome Park, Boro 4-1 vs United and Man City 8-1. The last 2 would be a great reminder to the recent Boro teams you are allowed to win by more than a goal and score more than 3 on occasions.
