Anyone take Wellbeck?

I would imagine the majority of teams in the Premier League would take Welbeck, England international far to good for the Championship.

So the bigger news from this is we are almost definitely trying to get bolasie

I was told yesterday that Pulis had personally called him to see if he was interested in the move...

And what was his answer?

Yes what did he say?

And obviously I’d have wellbeck haha surely he wouldn’t come though even on loan?

His words were we wouldn’t be pursuing it if we had no chance of getting him on loan

Bolasie or wellbeck?

Tbh if we got wellbeck would it be much improvement? After all he’d still be a striker struggling with lack of service. Yes he’d improve our team as he’s clearly a better player than Britt but wouldn’t nesesserily solve our biggest problems.

Antonio and Snodgrass both played for West Ham today, not entirely sure they're available. Certainly not Antonio who started the game.

That’s Tom from on here :)

Woah Tom looks exactly like Shotton, but who is he standing next to?

I’d imagine he would be out wide with Braithwaite on the other side of Hugill or Britt. Would be an awesome attack but it will never happen.

Whatever we are doing I wish we'd hurry the feck up. Looks like we are leaving any loans to the 31st...

Why does it look like that?

Wellbeck plays the same inside left position as braithwaite though doesn’t he?

    • They have a lot of respect for the mighty Boro & NW who is our 12th man They're a few who reckon we'll win & they're running on fumes, strange how you look at teams, me I would say this is our hardest so far
    • Sure  Here's link
    • I think I'd go with the same team that started against Swansea. Possibly bring Saville into the midfield and give Howson a rest, especially with his hip issue, he looked a little out of sorts last time out. I also wonder if it would be worth resting McNair for this one and sticking Wood alongside Fry. Warnock said he though about starting Wood against Swansea but thought Swansea's fluidity would cause him issues, I cannot see Stoke causing the same problems, so it could be a game well suited to Wood.
    • Lee Johnson, last at Bristol City, is in talks to be the new Sunderland manager. My own feeling is he won't do particularly well there.
    • We went through all this the summer he was appointed, sometimes things happen off the pitch that don't make the papers.  I'm happy to discuss it with you over pm.
