Summer Transfer Window 2018.

Recommended Posts

Antonio isn’t staying at Rockliffe.

Very much doubt we have any chance of signing him.

Exactly what I have been informed off as well.

Van La Parra should be concluded shortly as he is expected for talks today. Information came from a player last night.

What ever happened to our own man in the bushes? Come on KM do your thing!

As NB4 stated the pain of this window could be eased considerably.

It is a way out suggestion to think Antonio would come here but as I have said our performances and results could go a long way in getting some faces in.

We could very well look the real thing soon

You've changed your tune!

You were saying we were stuck with what we had until January this time yesterday ;)

Antonio is almost as unrealistic as Pogba. Nice try though, whoever started the latest ridiculous rumour.

I'd be happy with VLP as I said yesterday.

I go with the flow Tom and accept the old Stingray saying of "Anything can happen in the next half an hour"

I also know many forum members will not have a clue what Stingray is about.

@DZ shhhhhhh don't give away secrets you never know who reads the forum :omg:

Van La Parra will be a decent signing for the squad, Maybe he hasn't got the best end product. But he's also not a big injury risk like Bolasie would've been, whilst still giving us that pace and directness that has been missing since Traore left.

Looking at what could be our starting XI:

----------------Randolph

Shotton--Flint----Ayala--Friend

-----McNair--Clayton--Besic

La Parra-----Britt-----Braithwaite

Compared to Cardiff's last season, who have a manager in Warnock who plays a similar style to Pulis.

-----------------Etheridge

Peltier--Bamba--Morrison--Bennett

-----Bryson----Ralls----Paterson

Laing---------Zohore-------Hoilett

You can do a lot in this league with a balanced and focused squad. There's no real big names there and realistically how many players from that Cardiff team would come in and drastically improve our starting XI, yet they managed to achieve 90 points...

Fry and Howson don't get dropped for me. At all. But totally agree in terms of balanced and focused squad. We've tried the whole sign 15 players thing and its tough to make it work. Need a settled team now
