You wanted a match thread about dinosaurs. Here you go.

Of course, that's not the real thing, we're here to talk Dinosaurs and football in the aftermath of a pretty awful permanent transfer deadline day. Someone managed to catch Tony Pulis on his way to Bausor's office to hand in his notice:

Of course, the coffers are jam packed full of cash we might not spend so there's something to celebrate whilst we watch the team on Saturday:

But who's that I see coming up the A19?

Why, it's this man and his bag of yummy Brummies!

And whilst Birmingham City have today added another relatively new face (who can tell the Gardners apart?), Boro have failed to strengthen. So the fans are sensing blood and opening wide, ready to tear into the bare flesh of the club.

Questions:

Will Hugill start or will Pulis stick with Britt or maybe even both?

What's your expected line-up and who would you pick?

What's the score going to be?

What's the Birmingham manager's name again?

If Pulis is a dinosaur, what is the Birmingham manager?

Rawr?

Excellent Wilson.

I think Pulis will start with Britt. He isn't one to tinker with a winning team, especially not for a new signing.

I'm interested to see who Hugill comes onto the bench for. It won't be McNair or Johnson as they can cover a few positions, and it won't be Dimi or Leadbitter. Tav was described as being unlucky to miss out the other night by Pulis, so it won't be him.

So I assume it will be Fletcher or Chapman. If it's Chapman, it may be an indicator that he's still quite a bit away from the first team in Tony's mind.

Like it Wilson.

Will Hugill start or will Pulis stick with Britt or maybe even both? Britt to start, especially after pulis praised him after the last game. Huggy bear to come on as a sub.

What's your expected line-up and who would you pick? Same as last game. I'd be tempted to theirs Tav in as well though

What's the score going to be? 2-0 Boro, easy peasy

What's the Birmingham manager's name again? I don't know, but it has a lot of 'r's in it...

If Pulis is a dinosaur, what is the Birmingham manager? A dodo

Rawr? Rawr, get on the floor, Everybody walk the dinosaur!

Shotton----------------------- Downing

-------------Wing --- Clayton

Howson might be injured, that's why I would go 5-2-1-2

Excellent opening post Wilson. I think it will be the same starting 11 as Tuesday. Pulis is not likely to change a winning team. Think we will win 3-0 again

I can see McNair coming in for someone just not sure who it will be.

Yes fair point. Howson did take a knock on Tuesday and may not be fit enough to play so possibly McNair for Howson?

The Riverside could be a fun place to be come 5 ish if we were to lose to Garry Monk after today's going on or lack of them.

Yup. We do have a fairly significant pre match presser to come before then though. It's going to be interesting to see how the journos quiz him after today. If he can come out of that smelling like roses and put a positive spin on what business is to come, it might not be too bad. But realistically, losing to a Monk team that has been under an embargo until recently could still leave the fans baying for blood.

Braithwaite - we can do without all of that goal scoring and intelligent play thank you very much!

Think it'll be an unchanged side. At least it should be the way we started against United and just hammered them in the opening. Only change could be McNair for Howson depending on Howsons fitness. We all know how weak Monk sets up his full backs so that is something we should try to exploit. Only problem is Downing doesn't have the speed or dribbling skills to really test a full back. Perhaps move him into the middle if neither Howson or McNair is 100% fit. Could be a spot for Tav on the wing then.

Think it'll be a straight forward 2-0 win with Braithwaite and Britt getting the goals.

As others will hope it is as near the same starting 11 as possible (injuries aside) and that if clearly some are falling short during the game that changes are made sooner rather than later.

As things stand due to uncertainty of new players arriving this type of game to me is a must win game and getting the first goal vitally important.

Maybe TP is playing mind games about not being good enough for promotion and asking the players to prove him and the fans wrong.

Form can not be taken into account as yet but we do have a very early opportunity to show why we still are second favourites for promotion.

2 -0 win or more from TMB
