I would say that in professional matters it's not easier to get over because actually you don't care about the other person (much) so there's no real pressure to try and sort things out. What do you care if you don't like someone who works for you? You freeze them out or get rid of them and don't bat an eyelid about it. It's entirely possible that following what happened with Leo and his family, Aitor reached out to him and they sorted things out.
